PvP is such as trash

Unbalanced trash barb is out of control, nothing cant touch him and does 8 milions damage hits to players, its so unfair.

See it your self

Yep. Mode the dev team intentionally left unbalanced is definitely unbalanced.

Pvp is never balanced in these genre of games

Seems like the skills unbalanced. Don’t see anything else hitting for 20-60 mil aoe. But what do I know

Couldn’t care less about PvP in a ARPG to be honest.

Not trying to agitate everyone, but I can’t agree with that PvP is anything to spend development time on in a “diablo-esque” ARPG game.

Every Diablo game had unbalanced pvp.

D1 pvp was full of actual cheaters because most of the game was client side and easily modified.

D2 was full of botted and duped gear that everyone had easy access to. With 10$ on eBay you could have the best gear and a full inventory of perfect charms.

If anything this is the most balanced pvp we’ve ever had in Diablo.

PvP in these types of games is always trash.

No idea why people thought it wouldn’t be.

He’s also like 10+ levels higher than most of his opponents. He almost got insta melted by a rogue in one of the fights. Hota is strong but an equal level opponent can put up a good fight. Don’t expect to win if your a much lower level and not geared for pvp.

not just most, the entire game, bnet was p2p entirely at that point with 1 computer handling connections.

Client-sided game is a joke, I’d agree with that, it turns to who has better cheat software.

In D2, given everyone got close to perfect gear, it was at least somewhat manageable, no class was completely out of control like barb here. Botting destroyed any meaning for item hunt, but it is only a matter of time before it happens here too, as unrestricted trading with most BiS items is also here. Ppl are already doing mass p2w with fg and real cash.

You don’t seem to have a gist of the price of D2 gears. And you obviously never played Diablo Immortal.

First off, I remember buying items (RMT) back in 2008 and it costed me at least $100 for a few pieces of god tier runewords. When D2R launched, I did another RMT and it still costed me $100+ for the right pieces for me to make a farming-optimized Paladin.

There is no f-ing way you could buy a full decked gear with $10. D2 wouldn’t have last this long if the economy was that bad.

Second, if you at least played Diablo Immortal up to 300+ Paragon, then you know how f-ing amazing Blizzard/NetEase did with PVP. The only downside is that pay2win aspect destroyed the balance of the game. There was literally no way for even a basement dwelling man could even come close to a $10,000+ invested player.

Pure design-wise considering the faction war and vault raiding, Diablo Immortal is the only franchise that has proved PVP works.

D4 PVP is just like D3 and it looks like an open world PVP but you’re actually confined into the altar zone just like D3 Brawling zone.

The game should be called Barblo 4

It actually is in Lost Arc. Wish they would make the same/similar system here

you win necro thread of the day. gj :+1:

keep in mind hes got every uber you need tho not every barb has the time for that

the video is from pre-season 1 with no ubers, but also before any balance

well then this was fixed after the balance rouge were killing everything i wonder who it is now then

The D3 carebear crew all converged on this thread, I see. They’re the only people afraid of PVP actually being good, because it diminishes their self esteem.

They actively shout down anyone who enjoys playing in a way they don’t approve of. In fact, they don’t even like trading.

Bunch of pansies.

Properly balanced PvP with also added arenas could make Eternal shine for a long time with stuff like DFC from D2 being run on D4 etc.
Also it would make perfect rolled items have a meaning because now get average EQ and on S tier builds you smash NM100 ezmode.

But I dont have any hopes that current Blizzard would be able to achieve this or that they even want it since Eternal = No battle pass money.

-I considered the points you had.
-Also acknowledged the points the responders had.
-I have also NEVER played a game where the hardcore PVP crowd was happy. NOT a single one.

-Out of curiosity, is there any game you felt PvP was truly satisfying?
