Pvp is end game

every season more people play pvp, they all meet in layers to play, they are super fun games, even Hispanic content creators have been doing pvp tournaments for 3 seasons with prizes like gold, materials, runes etc, yesterday there was a tournament by the Hispanic content creator donpipeloTV, where there were many participants and they had a great time … like end game pvp was always a big objective, it always changes the meta of the builds with respect to the pit or the pve, in addition the items are completely different from those used in pvp, the pvp of diablo 4 is more alive than ever, the bad thing is that if you leave the server where they are gathered and you do not have any friends who are in the pvp area you lose the layer, could you start putting a pvp group in the group finder so that people who want to go to pvp and are not into this world can go easily with other players with the finder, also put an occultist and a Jeweler in those areas would be good to not lose the cape since many things are tested there and you need to change aspects all the time, also some leaderboards with clans competing with weekly rewards would be very good, Blizzard facing the expansion say that you are going to do PVP remodeling, we are with you it is a good end game, a way to change the build meta, lengthen the sessions and change the item meta, greetings and remember PVP is end game in any game.

No, why? What’s wrong with what I said? Give me an argument. If you’re going to just say no, there are the pit groups, hordes, etc. You can always do the same in the game, bro. You don’t have to go to PVP, but at least let the people who want to go and make it easier for them by adding a PVP group finder, an occultist, and a jeweler.

Pvp is currently the only actual end game content. farming to have better gear than your opponent is the only reason to keep going when you’re clearing pit 150.

Exactly, the only thing that motivates me when I’m climbing the pit is knowing that I’ll have my glyphs uploaded for PVP and that’s where my search for equipment to compete in the battlegrounds begins.

Did you dream that last night, that pvp is an important thing in D4?

A spanish streamer with his little community can have their fun, that is great for them but this will under no cirdumstances change the way, pvp is treated in D4. As long as every somewhat decent equiped player can oneshoot another player, there is no pvp.

If a player does 1b damage and this is not this much, after calculating off 85% armor, 92% res against player and maybe even 70% damage res more from various sources, you stay at 3,6 m. A lot lot lot lot lot more than the lifepool of a player.

With 100 m damage and this can be achieved by nearly every build/class with the most crappy gear there is to find or whatever you do over 300 k damage. No player/opponent has this much health.

And there we are not even talking about classes with invulnerability options and other classes with no such options.

Sounds like a call to balance to me.

So you cleared Pit 150 the last two seasons?

It is clear that you do not play pvp, the real pvp fights in diablo 4 are not 1 shot, in fact sometimes it is heavy because the fights last too long, just by putting on the immune aspect for 4 seconds, carrying a simple tyrael with the damage reduced to the maximum and a shako I assure you that it is not 1 shot, without counting the seasonal powers that are increasingly better for pvp this season there was one that made you invulnerable for 3 seconds, you just have to think a little and give it a few turns to see how you focus your character for pvp, it is not very difficult either, you would have to look at what damage reductions you can take

PvP is a non sense in diablo universe

Humanity is suppose to join forces to survive hell or heaven légions

Worst Blizzard have created hardcore challenges that consist in killing hardcore players… What kind of human could destroy hours of play of an other human for fun ?!

There are a lot of battle royal genre games

Diablo don’t need it : it need better and more PvE challenges (solo and multi)

Too long because of 4 secs? aha.

You can add 2 extra sources with 80% damage reduction to my example above and still you kill every char. And only with 1 b damage. High end chars do way more that that.
Btw the sources of damage reduction are not that many and there is a diminishing return.

PVP in Diablo got killed in D3 with the introduction of ridiculous uttery stupid high damage numbers.

What you’re saying doesn’t make sense, since Diablo 2 people have been playing PVP and by the way, that’s what keeps it alive today, or do you think that what keeps it alive are the runs to Diablo and Baal 24/7 haha, no friend, it’s the PVP, games that don’t have PVP end up dying, also I’m not saying that everyone should do PVP, but that people who want to do it should have a group finder, an occultist, a jeweler, etc., making it easier to do so if you want to.

How do you mean more? PVP playerbase has been doubled? 2 to 4 players?

Do these duels seem short to you?

Oh a wonder, the sorc won.

Sorry this video shows all the problems with the actual pvp.

Hahaha, now they seem bad to you because they last a long time? Hahaha, by the way, three witches were against a barbarian and all three died xd

I do not say, that these players are bad, but only from what you can see, this seems terrible. If this is pvp than no. I played a lot of pvp in D2 and this looks like garbage. But i give you this, it is only my opinion.

Also, we do not see any gear or stats or boards or whatever.

I agree with Javiaznar
PvP is endgame

PvP is dedicated to players who love a real challenge, and there’s an amazing community with all kinds of characters—everyone wants to prove themselves in a world of their own.
For me, it’s the only reason I keep playing this game.
If there had been a plan or a deeper focus on making PvP more than just a small part of the developers’ attention, Diablo would have been a much better game than it is now

For some, this is true. However it’s only for those who enjoy it. Just as it’s the same for D4. Unfortunately they are not the majority of the player base. In D2 they became the majority because the rest of the player base is done with the game itself, since no new content is coming.

They won’t do anything with PvP as they are always trying to improve the base game and make new content. Notice they didn’t touch PvP since launch, no added content in VoH, and I can almost guarantee they won’t add anything for the ext expansion.

It’s not that PvP isn’t there for people who like it, it’s that people who PvP are the minority in this game and there’s no reason to add additional content to it. Think of it like the Eternal Realm, Blizzard won’t touch it unless they’re adding content to the base game, and it only filters over by default.

You aren’t the first to ask for more PvP content, and you won’t be the last.

Yeah I agree. PvP is by concept easiest true end game for part of community but it needs balancing. However D4 is riddled with bugs and non intended interactions.

So yes in theory it could be great real end game activity, but I don’t believe based on years of Blizzard history it will ever amount to anything.

At least I have great memories from D2 PvP TvT fights those were the times
