Leave the pvp revival option as an option in hardcore. Due to the nature of the hard core, few people will participate in the Pvp battlefield with a single life.
That’s the point. People will still do it by the way, but it will definitely be a lot less than the softcore crowd. They aren’t going to allow death on HC for any reason.
I’m waiting for the multiboxers to go into Hardcore PvP and start deleting characters.
Even in normal mode, multibox pvp is gonna cause some of the biggest meltdowns on here, maybe ever.
Why play hardcore if you are just going to play safe and not put yourself into situations where you could die?
Id imagine anyone going into the PvP zone would make sure they have enough mobility to get away. I know if I see 4 characters all walking up to me, I’m getting the hell out of there.
Better turn off crossplay or youll get sniped from 1 screen away
Let’s give them a choice. It can also be revived in hardcore pvp mode. If you leave the No option, you can save the content. I think there is virtually no participation in pvp that is likely to die in hardcore mode.
If you think there’s only one life, you’ll feel that dealing with monsters and dealing with users is completely different.
Absolutely no revives. No coming back. If pvp hardcore is too much for you - do not participate.
Reviving a fallen ally seems to trump the “1 death rule” since you don’t die when you’re revived.
In nightmare dungeons when you have limited lives, being revived doesn’t consume a life.
I don’t even think reviving should be in the game, but since it is, hardcore players should be able to revive each other to prevent permadeath. And the fields of hatred shouldn’t be different.
I mean I dont personally care. That mode is not for me. I am just genuinely curious. It seems to me the draw of hardcore is that you can die at anytime and lose it all. Thats the thrill of it. What should be getting people to play it that like that kinda thing. Yet it seems to me a lot of “hardcore” players instead play it to brag and dont want to do anything that might even get them in a situation that they could die in. Instead they avoid that type of content unless they know they can OP handle it without issue.
Well idk. You can revive players who die in hardcore mode. This incentivizes players to join together. Why should dying to a player be different from dying in any other circumstance? Requiring someone to revive you is the same in any situation.
IMO there shouldnt be any revive in hardcore at all. Grouped or not. You die, you die. That is the point of hardcore mode.
Eh pvp is fine to be revived from, they did this in d3 as well ofc you only had 2-4 people in “arena”. in d4 you got achievements for killing x amount of players in HC pvp. and with it being online… you can get ganked by a group of up to 11 players. presuming they are capping fields at 12 players. So no matter how skilled you are… you’re dead.
