Do we expect classes to just generally counter other classes, example frost mage vs melee barb?

It will be oneshot fiesta, no balance whatsoever
With zero movement skills I am expecting my Necromancer to get slaughtered and unable to get away or people to run away from me and me not able to catch them. So I am just going to have a look, see if it is fun, if it isnāt Iāll probably skip it and not worry about it.
Iāll be there on my druid for that massive 17 damage, youāve all been warned.
Pretty much, the devs already said they Fields of Hatred will not be fair by any means. If you plan on PVPing youāll need to find a PVP clan and always be in a group. Or expect to be camped and killed over and over again.
Devs said that pvp will be unbalanced so expect permastuns, oneshots and lots of deathball ganking.
This makes me appreciate the 4p party size

There is 0 balance in pvp, and wont be for a long, long, long time.
Sorry but there will be no pvp balance, might happen in other seasons not on launch
I doubt it will be all one-shots, I believe thereās a 93% damage reduction modifier against players. If the time to kill is still too fast, they can always increase the damage reduction.

Frost sorcs will likely run rampant with all their slows and freezes. Lightning will likely be the runner up with stuns.
Frost mages used to be a terror in WoW, but their slomo power was steadilly eroded out of existence.
Sorces get eaten alive by druids and barbs⦠as does everyone else.
Except everyone will have near permanent Unstoppable. CC will likely be garbage in PvP.
I really have no idea how PvP will end up looking like but I have a feeling that Rogue will dominate.
So, from what I am reading, completely worthless to 95% of the playerbase. Got it. That right there is some quality game design.
You will be very surprised when a barb meets a rogue in PVP
Would be cool if they added modes for 1v1 and 2v2.
The only 1v1 that I know is wait for the defeated players to resurrect in town at the main entrance . That way both of you are guarantee to fight 1v1 without any computer enemies ā¦
Otherwise , both of you have to find each other again in such a big area and contend with fighting PVE ⦠The FOH is filled with computer enemies so somebody can be fighting the computers while fighting with other players
At first yes, then people will learn their classes. There will be an āOPā class that a streamer like Asmongold will say to look out for and everyone will spout his ramblings on here and other platforms. Blizz will ultimately cave to this mass complaining heard of sheep, only to create another imbalance, and another imbalance, and so on.
The rest of us will know that the game is not balanced around PVP and enjoy it.
I just cant wait until FoH are fights between the same busted PvP build, and that is all it will ever be. PvPers will come here and complain that there is no variety, and cry for nerfs for X class because X class isnāt balanced. I REALLY hope Blizzardo doesnāt cave into the PvPāers and start nerfing builds based on PvP.
We have watched them neuter builds in the past for WoW because PvPāers whine incessantly. I just hope it doesnāt happen here.
