Hello! I bought Diablo 4 Ultimate Edition before the announcement of Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred on PlayStation consoles.
Why am I additionally required to pay full price?
Let then the add-on cost not as the whole game, but as an add-on, that is, approximately half the cost of the game Diablo® IV: Vessel of Hatred™ - Ultimate Edition.
So just because you bought the full game and decided to pay extra for: Early access, cosmetics and seasonpass, you think that you should get a discount on the Expansion?
There is literally no logic in this.
The expansion is more than 1 year after the games release and have 3 different versions.
Blizzard have not stated that if you buy the Ultimate edition of the base game you will recieve the DLC at a lower price, so why do you think that you should?
I just decided to try the game now, since I found time for it and did not know that the update would be released soon. If I had known better, I would have immediately purchased the complete edition with the new addition.
And so it turns out that I bought the game for conditionally 1030 TL and I also need to pay 2399.99 TL for the add-on; from the buyer’s point of view, I will not be left with the ultimate edition of Diblo 4 and will not be able to play and enjoy the new content of this game.
Given the knowledge, I would wait for the new addition and immediately purchase Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred at the full price list
Huhh?
The game is over 1 year old at this point, and you find the time now to play it first time? Thats not Blizzards fault, lol…
There is the base game and soon there is a expansion(DLC) for said base game.
The base game was roughly 80$ at release, if you wanted some extra goodies in terms of cosmetics and “free” battlepass, you could buy the more expensive version of the base game for roughly 100$
The expansion is 40$, if you want some extra goodies such as cosmetics, platinum etc you can pay for the more expensive version, roughly 100$.
Diablo Vessel of Hatred is the DLC, you need to actually own the base game before purchasing and be able to play the DLC.
I think you are getting stuff mixed up and its confusing af but i hope this clears it up for you.
Hello again, here I am attaching a photo of purchasing the game, before I purchased it, I was not aware of the release of the add-on, as I said earlier.
The second screenshot shows that I have to pay for the Ultimate add-on on top of the whole game (game + add-on)
I can’t load links for photos
How long ago did you buy the game?
Purchase was 05/31/2024
Thats unfortunate, if you havent played it much maybe you can get a refund and then buy the bundle.
But on the other hand the info about a DLC/Expansion have been out since the game released, and was always aimed at the end of this year, so by doing somewhat of research you should have known that the DLC/Expansion is on its way and maybe waited with buying the game.
Yes, of course, I could wait and pay for the game with this add-on, but I didn’t know exactly when this DLS would appear. I would love to buy the full game with DLS
I don’t really understand about the refund?
Now, if the Blizzard company made a half-price discount on the DLS, I would gladly take it, but I took the Ultimate edition and was a little disappointed that instead of a full-fledged game with an add-on, I got just a game (
And now I don’t know what to do in this situation. I can’t return the game, because I downloaded it and played a little, and the PlayStation refund states that if you haven’t downloaded the game, you can return it. I am an ardent fan of the game franchise, I buy every version of the game.
Your best option is to request a refund and then buy the bundle you now want.
For a purchase made on the PlayStation Store, you can find your refund options and check if you’re eligible here by Googling PlayStation Digital Refund.
I don’t argue that this is the best option, but there is a small catch. It lies in the fact that a refund is not available if I have already downloaded the game on PlayStation and started playing it(
Full games, downloadable content, in-game consumables and season passes fall under this category.
After purchasing this type of content through PlayStation Store, you have 14 days from purchase to request a refund. If you have started to download or stream the purchased content you will not be eligible for a refund unless the content is faulty.
You’re not required. You can wait for an expansion sale and save some dollars. No worries there.
Regrettably that means the purchase stands.
Your best option now is to simply wait for the expansion to go on sale and buy it at a discounted price.
