In season 2 I had an idea to grind for Zir’s cosmetic crown and it was fun and rewarding because I chose to grind for it. I had to kill him 50+ times and I was happy when I finally got it. Now, I’m wearing the crown on every character. The end.

PTR why? To test things out before they go live - best guess.

I would LOVE to test out the infernal’s. But instead of having an NPC that has all the things to test, you have to TEST helltides to farm for compasses that are almost impossible to upgrade.
We all know how to farm Helltides in Seasons. PTR is for testing not farming.

you don’t get everything handed at the start cause they want people who are dumb enough to play on the ptr finding issues on the way to all those items. it’s not about testing everything what is new cause they introduced tons of bugs on previously working content. that’s what you free qa testers do.

perhaps errors have also crept into the helltides and it would be good if these were discovered now and not at the time of release?
thinking first then writing would be a start
I like the grind, but it has to be more rewarding. Especially on solo.

Correct. I should have thought about installing a PTR from a team that has obviously never played a D3 PTR to see how it is done.
This new system of kill tons of mobs and get 5 items after doing so, doesn’t feel rewarding or fun imo

Yes, I am the fool to come and complain because the game is not able to hold ones interest long enough without feeling like a chore.
Yes, I like the PTR, too but would like to finish playing Season 4 first.
The game appears to be a Constant Golden Carrot.

and yet you profit greatly from all the other people who don’t think like you and report bugs… a little more humility wouldn’t be a bad thing

Not for this dev team lol, this is what we would of gotten if not for the ptr, it’s sad they mess up this much but seems accepted by the community for the most part
They’re games without ptr that don’t have bugs.
It’s just free labor that some companies take advantage of.
This was my feeling after burning maybe 20000 orbs on boots to get one that had +3 warcry and 2 other decent rolls.
Then I bricked it because the temper I wanted wouldn’t drop.
Waste of time. Honestly, why people defend tempering is beyond me. “But bro you can’t have BiS in 1hr of play time or you will quit…” Yeah those people need a vanilla nut tap.
