Quick look at some of PTR gives me some pause. What do you guys think?

Survivor Upgrade
- Damage bonus reduced from 100% to 10%.
[Thats a big nerf nerf!]
Ceh (Spirit Wolves)
- No longer makes enemies Vulnerable.
- Chill amount reduced from 50% per leap to 10% per leap.
- Maximum wolves reduced from 10 to 6.
[Big Owie for wolves.]
Vex (+ to All Skills)
- Offering required increased from 100 to 300.
[Why???]
Prid (Dark Prison)
- Cost increased from 250 to 500.
[Was this really that good?]
Horazon’s Chains Set
- Ae’grom damage reduced from 30% to 15%.
[What is going on here because of next change?]
Ae’grom’s Schism
- Damage increased from 30-50% to 120-150%.
[Nerf set increase unique???]
Aspect of Glynn’s Anvil
- Damage reduction is now capped to 40%.
[So just like heavenly strength now overall?]
Banished Lord’s Talisman
- Damage per stack reduced from 15-18% to 8-10%.
[How long are we going to struggle trying to balance overpower?]
Melted Heart of Selig
- Increased the damage enemies deal to your resource.
[Selig made legacy again!!!]
Endurant Faith
- Reduced Damage Reduction from 30-40% to 15-20%.
[50% nerf nerf]
Ahavarion, Spear of Lycander
- Now only guarantees Lucky Hit: Chance to restore Resource.
[Has anyone ever used this in the history of D4?]
The Grandfather
- Now only guarantees + Critical Strike Chance.
- Critical Strike damage reduced from 150% to 120%.
[Rando mythics? For reals?]
Harlequin Crest
- Now only guarantees + Maximum Life.
- Damage Reduction removed.
- Bonus to all skills increased from +4 to +6.
[This might not even have cooldown now? What in the world!]
Heir of Perdition
- Now only guarantees Movement Speed.
- Damage reduced from 80% to 15%.
- Mother’s Favor now instead steals 15% Critical Strike Chance from other players and always retains its damage bonus.

[Is this a late april fool joke? Steal crit chance from other players? Did you read some of my joke patch notes and decide to make it real? 80% to 15%? Back away from the black mushrooms guys this design is so far out of the realm of acceptable I dont even know what else to say.

- Damage reduced from 30-40% to 7.5-10%.

Also there is no fix for MEFIS set for warlock which is broken. [makes no demons]

They have effectively turned this game into a cube material farming simulator . Damage and damaged reduction nerfed in every instance . And for the record , nerfs were needed, but doing the exact same thing just at a lower difficulty because your character is trash is NOT fun.

It seems like all offensive helmets got nerfed, except Ebewaka (they probably forgot about it)?
This is probably to steer us away from an all damage build. They probably could have tried reducing then by 30% or half before going that route, but it could change.
We’ll get some damage back through “Mythic Uniques” version of our Uniques with a 30% power increase, but the damage ceiling will probably be lower. I’m not opposed to that, but I think that the changes might be too drastic.
Random affixes “Iconic Mythic” uniques that cannot be rerolled is just bad though. I hope they roll back that change. And even there, having to waste time to reroll every item before transfiguration is kinda meh.

Why endurant faith nerf? Its one of the few things that makes this 1 shot fest of the game tolerable. Do they want the game to be a 1 shot fest? What are we getting to make up for all the defensive nerfs?

I dont know why are they doing one shot meta .. maybe is more fun to watch streamers die so more publicity? I dunno.

I don’t use faith or selig but if they’re gonna tone down the immortal stuff they should also tone down the random 1 shot out of nowhere stuff.
Nerfs are to be expected but you should see plenty of buffs in patch notes too. Balance. Bring it home.

It’s seriously very light in buffs. I understand most of the nerfs (except maybe DoK, but I probably won’t play that again next sesson), but many skills/variants deserved more love.
I don’t understand either why they nerf a whole skill if one variant was stronger or scaled better, but yeah, we need more info about defensive buffs and many skills buffs that should have been in a mid season patch.

so reduced all defensive on top of already broken defensive stats and one shot galore
remove mythic power chase and adding more rng stats to everything is this an arpg or some slot machine game

I guess we were not loud enough about the stupid direction they took uniques. Just so they can also interact more with the cube crafting. They not need to. Now they are doubleing down and changeing mythics the same way. Like come on devs you are swinging in the wrong direction. Uniques and mythic becomeing gloryfied legendaries, the whole itemisation becomes a homogenous slop, no item identity or personality. Just go back to fixed set of affixes and give back implicits too. It was a way more interesting version.
