Psa: do note preorder: 5+ hour queues

Still in queue. No end in sight. Do not preorder as you may not get in today. Wait until next beta event or release. Probably a safe bet to just wait 3-4 days after official release.

Same. Played for five minutes this morning at 9:30am. In queue since. Pathetic losers manage this company.

From what I gathered, there will be more servers at actual launch. Right now thy are testing servers and console bugs. Yeah, it sucks, been in queue for 2 hour snow after an hour or so of play. But hey, better the problems now, rather than at launch.

I paid over $100 for the Ultimate Edition. I preorder SPECIFICALLY to avoid what I knew was going to be jammed queues during the Open Beta. And yet for my money I have been given a game I can’t even play after waiting for 6 hours.

If the prefaced the open beta with stress test for servers…then sure.

Charge people $70-$100 for a game copy and exclusive perks tied to beta access, not cool at all.

Open beta does imply large scale tests. Hence the term open.

Don’t charge people for access then.

People not to stop white knighting a corporation…

Dude, you PAID to play the game at launch in June. If you pre-ordered just to beta, then that’s your problem.

Except this is NOT the Open Beta. This is the Early Access beta only for those who already paid. Not a free beta test for any random joe. As in, I paid to access this as well as get the game when it comes out. And at this point am already considering revoking said payment entirely.

I PAID for open beta early access and the game at launch.

" Hell awaits. Pre-purchase and get Open Beta Early Access now through March 19"

How can you defend a six plus hour queue lol?

Yes, it can be frustrating to have such long queue times, but as someone who works on and tests large scale systems/networks, every beta/soft release is: first a test on the network, then a test of the application and game. As much as you test before hand, you won’t really get true results until you can have lots of users hitting the network from so many different locations.

I am just excited to get a peak at what is in the game and if i can help them get most of the kinks and bugs worked out before release day so I can do some serious gaming then, all the better! Be patient and have fun!

This really should be pinned. At least give current pre-ordered people a chance this weekend…

12 hours of standing in a queue now. is that a joke?
