So my wife and i are enjoying the game, but we have a major issue that occurs every time we play.
Occasionally while playing co-op, player 2 will DC. We don’t understand how, or why, but when this occurs whoever is P2 is kicked from the game and logged out completely. Doesn’t matter which profile is P1, P2 has this occur while P1 has no issue.
It occurs randomly, but it’s causing havoc. Middle of a dungeon and she won’t get the aspect because of it. We were doing whispers, and I got my 5 and she didn’t get any because she DC’d halfway through the clear (despite rejoining immediately).
When this occurs and P2 joins back in, they can get drops and quest rewards, but earn no experience and earn no whispers or helltide pickups. Only way to resolve is to close game and relog both of us.
For reference, my ps5 is wired directly to router. And this has been happening pretty much since launch, with a few times during ea

Similar issues ongoing with my girlfriend and I. We both purchased the game. Both have paid accounts and the newest development (06/13) Is that midday the game has decided we can’t log in at all. She logged in and I couldn’t. Or after I logged in she couldn’t. Waiting on a refund request now. Might come back later, might not.

The same thing happens constantly to my wife and me on PS5. It happened just few minutes ago. I was P2. Duriel was seconds from dying when it disconnected me. By the time I was able to reconnect, I’d missed out on the drops. It’s becoming maddening. If it was an occasional thing, I could let it go. It always picks the worst possible moment to occur.

This has been happening since release and now with The Pit if it happens there she cannot even rejoin the pit at all. This is not a network issue but obviously something else since it only happens to player 2.

Yes it’s still happening to us quite often, typically during dungeons and world bosses, but sometimes during over-world exploration as well

Same thing here. This has been going on since launch. Only with player 2. Any fixes/ideas yet. I’m losing a lot of potions and now obducites!

August 2025 and still happening. Just lost connection on P2 in the middle of a Nightmare Escalation. Press Any Button to Join is not working. Tried to log out of P2’s Playstation account and log back in, still will not reconnect to D4. One of the many bugs that never goes away.
