Yesterday, I experienced the license error 315306 that everybody else on PS5 has received. I downloaded a free demo from the PS Store which resolved the issue. Everything was working fine until today. I decided to link my Blizzard and PSN accounts together (after having already started the game the day prior) and now the license error is back and absolutely nothing will fix it. Not restoring licenses on the console, not downloading a piece of content, not purchasing microtransactions, nothing. I cannot play a game I paid over $100 for. There is clearly an issue that has been created now that my PSN account is linked to my Blizzard account. And no, I don’t game share, and yes, my console is primary. Ughhh…
An xbox thread with same issues is also at the top. I do not gameshare and linking my battlenet messed up my log in in same exact way. Game was working fine. I have not heard much from Blizzard regarding the linking of battlenet issue all the sudden causing problems. I would advise others to not link the account. This appears to be auty/handshake issue. im gonna have to refund…
I have the same exact issue, none of the workarounds helped. This needs to be resolved by Blizzard. We spent too much for this kind of issue
same happening to me…so stupid
so I tried unlinking account bnet to psn, which makes it worse. Now I cant even get to login screen, with two error messages/codes popping up. I am now trying to delete and reinstall game…
I have tried both…which was a 3 hr turnaround. Even after unlinking, and reinstall, the came now expect you to log unto the servers and athenticate with blizzard battlenet accont log in. you’ll get a QR code now going forward but still the same license error.

Just updated the game to 1.02.something and it’s still the same… Can’t find valid license… Worked fine before I linked my PSN account to Blizzard account. Not fun after spending $100 and played to character level 23!
Same here, I played all the afternoon yesterday and this morning I noticed that my PSN wasn’t link to my main account and decided to switch it…what an error …
Just got a reply from Support. This is the biggest joke ever, when you buy D4 on your console, it buys it for the blizzard account that is linked to your console, so if you switch account, you don’t have a licence anymore.
I don’t know what to do, Blizzard won’t switch the licence, Playstation won’t refund the game, you can’t buy it twice, basically if you switch the linked acocunt, the game becomes unplayable on console, except if you buy it again on PC … I can’t … This is too much …
But…I m okay to play on my other account if it works as you say, but…Blizzard won’t let us re switch the PSN link for 365 days…so…what can we do ?
Edit : I successfully reswitched my PSN on my other account, will tell you if it’s work when I will access to the console
So you were right, immediatly after having relink the psn with the account used when purchased, it fixed the issue. So take care about the cooldown with the switch and go back on the account you used to buy the game…
how do you find the account you purchased and the login credentials?
That does not help. I did purchase through my PS5 and then linked the Blizzard account and then it all got stuck. I did not purchase via any Blizzard account to start with…
Same has happened to me after linking psn to battle net. My character has disappeared and I’m only given the option to start a new character. Total waste of £90
