I have had almost constant lag and rubber banding on PS5 since launch and it’s making the game incredibly annoying to play. Is anyone else having this issue? My internet and console work perfectly fine for any other game.

I’m also on PS5, just started only level 24 but I haven’t had lag issues
Have my PS5 connected to my router via Ethernet cable and also have a gaming monitor if that means anything

I also have had no lag or rubber banding. I have had the two days in a row of disconnects though. Which is weird lol

I have had very rare rubber banding. Generally only lasts a few seconds
I did the the first couple days until I switched my ps5 connection to a dedicated 5Ghz band connection on my router. No problems since.
The best option is to do a hard LAN connection to the router… will fix most of any lag issues.
while I agree, this particular issue seems to be unrelated to actual internet speed/stability. it’s widespread and did not seem to matter if you were hard wired to your router. Some people had success changing to 5Ghz frequency via wireless connection (myself included). Which makes me think it’s related to how psn/blizzard has configured it’s connections to their servers.

Yeah i have rubber banding here and there on PS5, its only on movement / dash / horse. Its annoying but nothing gamebreaking, i can play the game quite fine overall. At first thought it might be my net, but since i have read alot of people having this issue on these forums and reddit, and since my net works fine with other games its most likely on blizz side and will be fixed eventually, hopefully soonish. Other than that dont think i have encountered a single DC, but im an European who plays on US servers so its like night / early morning in USA and servers arent that stressed. Oh my game has completely frozen twice, both times in towns, simple game exit (through PS5 menus) and starting game again fixed that.

I have the same problem. Worked well while Beta and Early Access.
Now it is not good playable anymore. Jumping around, stuttering etc. Absolutely sucks.

I have a PS5 and fiber internet, no problems with other online games (like Destiny 2), and have had constant lag. The rubberbanding is annoying but I could live with it. The micro-freezing in combat is near constant and makes the game unplayable.
I really regret having pre-purchased this, just for the early access. The little I have played has left me frustrated and I wish I could return the game. I don’t understand why Blizzard hasn’t addressed this.
It is so unhelpful to hear people saying, “Well it works fine for me, maybe it’s your internet!”

Changing to 5Ghz frequency instead of Automatic via wireless connection settings on PS5 solved it for me

I dont get it constantly, but it happens heaps when I’m dodging. The screen will lag and I’ll rubber band a bit. Also when loading into different areas on the map it lags a ton

Yes, I had frequent mild lag when playing on PS5 in a party with someone yesterday.
It has nothing to do with Internet connection, ya dinguses. This is a server-side issue and one of the biggest downsides of a forced-online game.
Same! I’m on a 1gb wired connection and have unplayable lag spikes daily. Have they even acknowledged this is an issue??! They won’t even let you open a support ticket for it if you’re on console.
