Did anyone play the beta on a PS4?
I’m considering buying D4 for multiple systems but I won’t if the ps4 lags or something.
If it is designed to work on the PS4 it wont’ lag lul.
They will have just turned down the graphics.

It’s just hard drive loading time differences is all. The PS4 can run the game just fine.
The PS5 is just faster to load instances and when you TP from towns.
Of course the PS4 will have less frame rate and lower graphics settings because it’s much older.
But it can still run the game and it will be playable.
The video… is 26 minutes long with a large comparison of things. its what i could find about ps4. which is what op asked about.
He asked if it would lag.
It will not lag because the game will be tuned to work on PS4.
He also says “or something” which means he was using it more as an example. Zero’s video gives an overall review rather than just “it should work fine”
It will work fine. It is made to work on PS4 if it’s released for PS4. It’s not the same version as for PS5.
They change the game to make it work on PS4. So it will work.
So… we should just ignore op… and not let them view the stuff themselves…to help them make a sound judgement on their own? they should just take the words of people… with no visuals…

The game is literally designed to run on PS4 so of course it will work.

There is a case of many games releasing for previous gen consoles (PS4/XBOX ONE) and having abysmal performance. They often do that to increase profits by releasing on more platforms. And they get away with it because the industry is atrocious.
To OP: Wait until release and check a website like metacritic for the PS4 user experience review. Don’t listen to users like Singularity who is claiming adequate performance for something he hasn’t tested, just to support the company.
And I would certainly not pre-order on a prev-gen platform.

The video proves the performance is adequate. So again, I was right. No one needs a FPS test on a console.
The PS4 is designed to run at 30 fps. Shocker, the game runs at 30 FPS on PS4.

Honestly you should wait and find someone that has actually played on a PS4 and hear what they have to say before you make a decision. There have been games that worked on older platforms but worked poorly. Some had poor graphics, poor fps, maybe more buggy, etc. A recent example is Cyperpunk. Its so bad that future stuff is no longer supported on older gen.
Load times don’t bother me much. Lesser graphics on a game like this doesn’t turn me off either, I’m sure they will be fine. I’m just worried about crashes, lag, causing the system to work too hard it played for a long time etc.
I had issues like this with Skyrim. It played much better on the PC than ps4, and I experienced a lot of the above with Skyrim on my ps4.
I’m getting a new PC soon, but I’m not going to also get a ps5 any time soon I don’t think.
UPDATE PS4 works great. Minor bugs or screen freezes but nothing to complain as game is out for only one week. Recently converted from PC and don’t plan on going back trying to keep up with video card requirements. Purchasing on console makes sense going forward for me! (9.5 / 10) 
Hey thanks for the update. I’m playing my heart out in pc but if I ever get the major urge to play in my bedroom I’ll pick it up for the ps4
