Hey Blizz,
when are you going to acknowledge the fact that last generation consoles are facing major issues that not only impact how the game is played but also impacts those of us who have/have had supported you for many years?
Audio tearing in the PS4 mixed with the lag/rubber banding that happens in tandem is terrible. I had hoped that you would have acknowledged this issue three days after the launch but perhaps my hope is wrongly placed. Understandably, the licensing issue is a concern. However, even if you had posted the fact that you know it’s an issue and are actively working to resolve said issue may have helped even minutely.
I have looked forward to playing this new expansion since it was released, and the fact that I cannot actively play alongside other wanders on the server is disheartening. I cannot sit for more than 15 minutes before an excruciating headache begins to take shape. My concern is not only for the sake of gameplay but for others that are trying to endure for the sake of the game that have health concerns like mine or worse.
I am concerned for that and the fact that last console gamers are made to feel inferior to those who have latest gen consoles or higher tier PCs that can handle a game such as this. However, I guess all the consoles are having issues as well but those with newer gens get to see actual updates to the problems they’re having whereas those of us do not.
If I wanted to think of it from the standpoint of an SBAR this is what it would be like:
Situation: Audio tearing amongst older gen consoles
Barrier: Blizzard that’s what you’re going to have to fill in because I don’t know if there’s an actual barrier or just a humongous portion of negligence on your part.
Action: a patch or major update to smooth out said problems is needed in order for EVERYONE to enjoy a game that some have been supporting for 20+ years
Result: Fixing the game
That’s the end of my vent. Please fix the dang game before you see a mass exodus of people abandoning Sanctuary.
