PS4 - Diablo 4 Standard Edition is Unavailable

I am not able to purchase Diablo 4 - Standard Edition via the Playstation Store; it shows as “unavailable” and “not available for purchase”.

When selecting the Tell Me More option on the Standard Edition’s game page, the following message is presented:

You are not able to purchase this product for the following reasons:
You do not own:
Diablo 4 Preorder Items Standard

I note that both the Digital Deluxe and Ultimate Editions are available for me to purchase, however.

What is the reason I can’t purchase the standard edition?

I’m having the exact same issue here, i tried restarting, restoring licenses and made sure my PS4 is activated as primary. Still just says “not available for purchase”. Super frustrating.

Edit: found a thread on r/diablo4 with PS5 users experiencing the same thing… doesnt sound like the issue was ever fixed by Sony either. I guess they dont want us buying the game huh

Same exact issue. Never purchased and refunded or anything, also both the premium editions are available

I’ve found a workaround for anyone who stumbles on this thread: login to your account on the playstation store website or app. I was able to purchase the standard edition there and then download the game from my library.

This is also not working. My console start downloading the server slam in stead of the actual game

Same here. Yesterday was able. Today not able.

I can’t buy standard edition in the store on my ps4, also the app just downloads the server slam to my ps4 but not the actual game, please help!?

Same problem here, standard edition is unavailable while the more expensive versions are.

Scared to try the workaround now in case I spend 70(!!!) to just download the server slam.

I contacted blizzard through their ticket system but they just told me it’s Sony’s error. Contacted Sony by email but still waiting a response.

It’s a high profile release from a big company, doesn’t this feel like an unacceptable mess up?
