PS4 'corrupted data' issue

i have been experiencing a blue screen with something like corrupted data please delete and reinstall which i have done about 3 times over the course of the last 4 days. i have rebuilt my database also with D4 being the only game installed, this took a matter of seconds so i dont believe there was anything to repair and my storage doesnt contain any corrupted data files or anything like that. i have checked licenses and also turned off the HDR setting (which seemed to effect the issue positively for a moment). having gone through all of this i cant be certain it is actually a corruption issue but some other problem, possibly since last patch though i didnt have D4 installed before the weekend.

game is basically unplayable and while cinematics or in game cutscenes seem to trip this error, i am able to usually get to the character select screen (though not always) or the login queue.
barely been able to begin. after restarting the game a hundred times or so i have just started in Kyovashad… please help.

You’re not alone there. Lots of us across all platforms are having issues. It’s not a console issue, it’s definitely on Blizzard’s side. I’m sure they’re working on it though- this is growing in complaints both here and on Reddit.

thank you for your response. and yes, i am starting to see that what i am experiencing seems to be happening to many people though seeing it displayed as corrupted data was shocking at first. after reading forum posts it seems to be a way for the system to display a crash of some kind. at the end of my trying tonight it was occuring consistently as soon as sound started at the ‘Blizzard’ logo screen.
