Proposed changes for Shard of Verathiel and Battle Trance from a Frenzy lover since Classic D2 Days

Battle Trance: It feels pretty good with the current stats, the only thing it feels kinda useless depending on setup is the “and your other Skills gain [35 - 55]%[+] increased Attack Speed”. What if instead “and you gain Berserk”.

Shard of Verathiel: Current: Basic Skills deal [50 - 200]% increased damage but additionally cost 25 Primary Resource.

Proposed: Basic Skills deal [50 - 200]% increased damage while over 50% Resource but additionally cost 25 Primary Resource.

This would make it so you can still use your Basic Skills without Fury, think about it a juiced up Adaptability Aspect without the increased Resource Generation while below 50% Resource.

Don’t forget that other classes can use this sword. Oh wait what class actually want to spam Basic attack? Only barbarians? Oh okay.
The resource cost is fine. It’s not like barbarians have a hard time generating Fury.

It’s the magic of the massive nerf. While one class can still assign more abilities than can fit on the bar, the Barbarian has to sacrifice an ability just to activate fury at the start of the combat.

You might think, ‘It’s great that the Barbarian carries so many weapons at the end of the game; leveling up something so slow should have a final reward.’ It would, if the game’s ceiling were nmd100.

Rogue heartseeker use it too.

Exactly. Some people forget that these uniques are not class specific. It’ll make other classes broken.
