Is there a way to turn of the profanity filter or whatever? Also, how come I can’t repeat what an NPC tells me? I can’t even quote it here. Is that not bizarre?
Did you check the options menu before you came to the forums?
Maybe go look in the social settings of the options like anyone with half a brain would do before coming to the forums to post.
Literally took you longer to do that, then it would have to spend 5 seconds using your head
literal NPC’s have more rights than humans do in this game
some npc said a word i cant even say on this forum. i was like “hell yeah!” and then i wondered how long itd take for easily offended karens to riot against it / get it removed.
i hope they have no power here since the rating is M.

Dude, you are not new and have heard me explain the difference between the ESRB rules and rating for developed and reviewed content a game company makes vs what rules players have to follow.
We (players) have a very family friendly code of conduct for player generated content (names and text) that is applied to every game and forum.
The rating for the game is for game content. Not for players. Players have very different rules and yes, you have to be polite on the forums and in game.
No profanity, masked profanity, insults, slurs, spamming, trolling, advertising, hateful stuff, non game related bait threads/politics etc.
Edit - and no, they won’t be turning off the filters seeing as people can’t follow basic rules. Getting filtered also does not mean you won’t get a forum penalty if reported.
