everything seems flat now.
the armor reflections, the fur, the bodypaint. it was all downgraded.

Looks the same to me.
4k max settings with DLAA. Game looks amazing. Nothing was changed. Resource usage is the same.
Yeah, idk. Still looks amazing on my g9 Neo.

this is just false.
here is a screenshot showing that both the fur and the bodypaint was changed for the worse. you can see the fur on the belt.

left is original, right is after the patch. open the image in a new tab to see it. just clicking it won’t make it big enough.
the body paint used to have a depth to it that made it look real. now it’s very flat. they removed a ton of shading from a lot of fur in the game.
It’s something on your end. I’m not able to see your link. I just loaded up and everything looks the same.

and it’s not something on my end, bro. other people have reported it as well. it’s the same in your game and everyone else’s.
yah i noticed that on my characters too. Graphics downgraded.

got to downgrade graphics when you add extra stash tab since you load the entire character’s stuff when you see someone

I use GeForce settings and have adjusted lighting and other image settings, I also added 10 to image sharpening. I think I have it to a good setting. I’m running 4k 144hz, max settings, HDR.
The game seems dull and washed out a bit but I was able to make it pop with some filters.
They definitely did. I noticed hair and facial hair looked really bad when I remade my S1 character identical to ER one.

You shouldn’t need to do any of that. Just use DLAA if you have headroom on your GPU. Even the DLSS works very well in this game. Anything other than an HDR 10 monitor is going to look like crap with HDR enabled imo. I had an HDR 600 monitor that looked terrible. When I got an LG C1 HDR games started looking amazing.
*DLAA is not downscaling. It’s AI upscalling to remove all jaggies. It’s amazing tech. I think it only works on 4k series cards. my 4090 runs at 50-70% usage at 4k max settings DLAA 120 FPS.
**I bet they made adjustments to the lower graphical settings. I’m not seeing lower quality on my end at all. I could be wrong. /shrug
