So, after the betas and all that, what version did you decide to purchase, or if you bought it at all.
I had the standard prior to beta and now have the digital deluxe since season 1 will be out 2 or so weeks after release.
The difference between ultimate and digital deluxe is negligible… it’s 20 paid tier skips and some lame emote.

Well, folks can’t post here now if they don’t have (or at least had) a preorder in. So that last option probably won’t be heard much in here. You’d need to go to the console forums for that one to become possible.
As for myself, I expect to be rather low on free time come release so I went ahead and nabbed the Ult edition, just for the bonus BP levels. Simply so I don’t have to fret about keeping up on it as much.
I did not have a copy at all before the OBT as I was quite skeptical (and rather pessimistic) about the quality of the game considering its predecessor.
Ordered the Ultimate back when preorder came out. Ive not regretted it, and what Ive tried so far and what I am seeing with the revealed systems is only making me more eager to play.
Bought the ultimate edition. No regrets. Also season won’t be for about 3 months I think. They will want to maximise uptake of the game and play before dropping a season.
I bought standard but decided to upgrate to Digital Deluxe having played beta which I really enjoyed. Early access means weekend playing for me so it’s worth extra $20 to me.
Has Bliz actually said this now or still just a made-up forum thing?
digital. once considered we’ll likely play for months between seasons etc before starting to wish for other additional content, those 20 euros more is really pocket coins. worth the “up to 4 days with hopefully a bit less lag than hordes at the gate day” bit, to me. couldn’t actually bother less about the cosmetic this and that stuff.
Interesting. So, many opted out either Standard or Ultimate. Very few for Deluxe.
actually all who posted either have digital (deluxe) or ultimate (those who bought standard, infact, said they updated to deluxe). that makes for a pretty much non-existent standard sample, here.

“Some weeks” doesnt mean two. It means two or more. Thats PR talk for Im not going to answer that directly, but dont want to say its going to be a while. D2r took about 5 months for the first season and that was essentially just a remastered game that already had all it needed. We will be LUCKY if its even close to 2 months after release, 2 weeks or a little more… nope.

Ultimate here, over the course of 10+ years it is pocket change for all the entertainment it gives.
I am going with the Ultimate more than likely for a 10 dollar difference to get an accelerated pass with 20 skips and cosmetic seems worth the extra 10 dollar.
I decided to upgrade to the second package so I have 4 day early access and battlepass (which I would bought anyway)

I said two or so and it’s general consensus that it won’t be more than 3-4 weeks post release. They are selling season1 battlepasses with pre-orders this time this is nothing like D2R the circumstances are completely different so stop making false equivalences and being so hostile.

I’m expecting between two weeks and two months for season one. I don’t feel he would have said “some weeks” if “a couple months or so” would have worked better

i wasnt sure if i was going to even get D4 after DI and its predatory microtransactions. but, i had quit playing WoW during SL, and the WoW token price really took a nose dive and was like, well im not playing that anymore and am sitting on a few million gold… why not use it for something? so while it was low (like 134k avg per $15), i got the D4 Ultimate and about $125 worth of balance for any cosmetics i feel i must have. and it didnt cost me any money, just someone elses money for my ingame gold i wasnt using anymore. plus i still got about 1 million gold left on my wow account if ever do decide to get back into it.
I think even past 1 month is pushing it. They’d either have to let people use the pre-order battlepass for any season they choose or they’ll get mass demands for refunds on higher paid editions at that point.
