How do you skip cut-scenes? I’ve tried using ESC, but that doesn’t seem to do anything.
In particular I want – no, need – to skip the opening cut scenes, because I’ve seen them & I’d like to be able to start a new character without watching them again.
MTIA.
You need to hold the Esc key. When you do you will see a circle item at the bottom right of the screen that shows the time to skip. I believe its a 1 or 2 second Esc hold.

Thank you. I didn’t realize I needed to hold the key down
hold esc for a few to skip, in the event it no longer skips it… alt tab and select the game window. and itll work again

Sometimes I find it doesn’t work for some reason and then I alt+tab away and back then the ESC key magically works again for some reason.

The only dumb question is the one not asked.

Yea, same problem with chat not skipping sometimes too…
Oddly, I already knew the fix because Solasta has the exact same issue and I’d had to google the fix for it a couple weeks ago also

Dumb questions definitely exist, but I don’t mind answering them.

yea, and those side quests just aren’t interesting enough to listen to. just gimme that renown
Some are kind of interesting but yea… most are pretty tropey.
I’m actually kind of surprised whenever you find anyone alive on a side quest… Like… 9 times out of 10 if there’s a quest to go “find someones lost child” you should probably just be clicking on all the corpses… It’s pretty dark… but even that loses impact after the 12th time…
