While doing the Potent Blood event while in Nightmare dungeons (my character is level 96/97 on Hardcore doing tier 45/46) I’ve had an instance twice where after killing the 2nd elite beast, no more elite beasts would spawn for the remainder of the event duration, causing the mastery bonus to be impossible to complete. Currently I’m unsure what may be causing this to happen.
Did the elite beast have the poison self destruct affix?
I had it bug out after the very first one, and it took forever for the thing to finally explode and die, and I’m wondering if that explosion prevented/interrupted/cancelled the flag for the blood draw thing the NPC does. So without a triggered blood draw, no new ones spawned.
Just a guess.
unfortunately this is still happening with latest patch. i haven’t been able to complete Potent Blood once this season. the most recent time, only 1 Elite spawned out of 5.
Happened to me to today - PC on latest patch. Only 1 Elite spawned and killed. No more showed up.
Just had this happen; it was a poison enchanted
