Once the 17th arrives and S2 begins, what will happen to our S1 characters?
I assume they get migrated to eternal?
What about malignant hearts? Will we lose the hearts or will we be able to keep them in eternal?
Will Blizz stack season mechs in eternal like PoE?
Your character will become Eternal.
Malignant hearts from gear and from stash will disappear.
New temporary stash will appear containing all your loot from your seasonal storage.
You have 3 months to transfer your loot, if you need it.
That’s a shame, my necro relies on my heart ability =/
Seasonal mechanics are seasonal. Shocking I know. Every season there is a new gimmick. Enjoy it.
You’ll have to make a new character anyway for the season, it’s not like with the new season you could use it
I still play on eternal a lot
With the recent buff the game will receive on 17th, I’m sure you could figure something out. Items will become better alongside there will be more damage all around. Pretty sure you can use your build to some extend.
Knew these threads would start popping up again as we reached the new season. Should just copy and paste this reply to the ones that pop up but add a counter at the bottom.
I see lots of s1 players will be very heartbroken and upset later 
That’s just the nature of seasonal play, “out with the old, in with the new” kind of gameplay… I personally love it that way.
