I am neglecting all the discussions about BOSS POWER level and farming mechanism and only want to provide some quick feedback on Rogue class:
- Again, please REMOVE the max. 3x Death Trap on-screen. This was a legacy consideration before Season 7 when the ultimate skills got big buff and went into mainstream builds.
- Beastfall Boots did not work with Death Trap due to double-tag issue. Please make sure this gets fixed so that Death Trap spamming becomes a legitimate build in S8.
- Shadow Clone ultimate is almost complete after a fair amount of work, please continue to FIX the interaction issue that DOT damage does not get all the Ultimate/SC buff, and making sure the clone correctly works with the BOSS POWERS.
- Good to see that Trick Attack finally works on boss in the PTR. However, the Crit Damage has been heavily nerfed, we might want 2x to 3x multiplier on its Crit Damage. This further diversify the choices for Crit-based (i.e. Precision) and Non-Crit-based (Poison DOT) builds.
- Second Wind passive - INCREASE the barrier buff time from 3 seconds to 5+ seconds so that it matches with the Belial potion CD time. This provides a comfortable (5 sec) recirculation system by Belial + Unstable Elixir + Second Wind.
Further thoughs on Rogue’s class specializations:
- Combo Points: the stacking-consuming cycle is very slow paced and annoying, try granting x-second buff time with the points stacked, similar to Twistblade’s damage stacking. Buff the unique dagger so that every single time it grants full 3-point instead of randomized incremental points.
- Inner Sight: this specialization is basically useless now due to its 4-second cooldown. Consider either removing the CD or make that happen by True Sight aspect / unique gear.
- Preparation: reduce the energy consumption threshhold to increase Rogue’s playing pace. Rogue’s five core skills energy consumption are 25, 25, 30, 30, 35. I think reducing the threshold from 75 to 50 would be a good idea. It will also provide 2 Preparation procs (10sec CDR) when entire 100 energy pool is spent (w/o heavily relying on stack extra energy, or trigger 3 procs (15sec CDR) when energy gets buffed to 150).
