I have around 80 hours on my Paladin. I remember getting some temper recipes pretty early on. I went to temper something tonight and realized I didn’t have the recipe - then realized I haven’t seen a temper recipe in a long time. Asked a few friends and they said the same. My collections is only showing 19 unlocked. 2 of my friends said they only have 19 unlocked. A few reddit threads are stating they have 19 unlocked.
Are they just very rare or is this a bug?
I have 23 but also some are probably from my Warlock, but yeah in collection there are more listed but I have not gotten anymore since like torment 1.
Can confirm as a paladin with over 50 hours I stopped getting the tempering recipes after 19 were unlocked even though more show available to unlock in the codex of power. It has been close to 40 hours of gameplay since any dropped.
Me too. I have a Paladin in T9, so many hours and blood maidens and world bosses taken down - and nada. I am definitely not getting recipes. Like I am looking for Paladin Resolve and according to the codex I only have 3/23 of Defensive Recipes. Trying an alt, just not getting anything. So I guess this is a server-side issue. Never reported a bug before but this one kind of urks me after this deep into the expansion and learning the horadric cube and such.

I am encountering the same: I am playing Warwick on T9, paragon 221. I have just 10% of all temper recipes. They just somehow stopped dropping a long time ago. Pretty annoying, it really is a struggle to properly upgrade the gear.
It’s not a bug - they deleted a ton of temper recipes but they’re still listed in the codex. People keep getting confused about this and reporting it as bugs. The only bug is that they still appear in the codex.
Ok im on the same thing. PC. Paladin P236. Only 19 recipes. I see on the codex some of the paladin only recipes like Juggernaut augment but i dont have it. I understand they probably simplified the things deleting some of the “minor” tempers, but “Life on hit” was removed seriously? Im trying a selfhealing build with clash and i simply cant temper that, only pray to have that from drops.
Same issue here, haven’t seen any tempering recipe drop since I passed Torment 2.
I might see this as a possibility, except NO TEMPER MANUALS have been dropping. That means no upgrades to tempers that are definitely available are dropping either.
Do the PTR character boost and see if the missing temper manual is in the chest. Each class gets exactly four class-specific temper manuals. If the one you’re looking for isn’t in that chest then it means it was removed from the game intentionally.
Again. I’m not worried about the ones removed from the game. I’m looking at being stuck with low level versions of Tempers. The higher level versions are not dropping. I have little use for a Lucky Hit that gives 600 Fire damage while I’m pushing high level Torment.
