This is both exciting and concerning. Now I have no idea what is going to happen tomorrow. I thought there was no chance of another beta, but that is very convincing.

Now Iā€™m going to have to actually watch this livestream and canā€™t just wait for youtubers to tear it apart.

Oh gods. Iā€™ve been without my PC for a week tomorrow.
I had BETTER get it back before another beta weekend, or I will :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

If they lock any part of this beta to pre-orders that will push me over the edge, and make me do something I never doā€¦

Holy crap, are they actually doing it?

I think it would be pretty smart and hype the game up even more. Iā€™m sure they were concerned at first that people would go nuts with the negative reviews and do what happened to Diablo 3. But the game is pretty much universally being praised. Blizzard is really turning a corner with it. Hopefully Diablo becomes their premier brand over wow, while that game goes into a restructuring.

Let the people who pre-ordered and are not crying about everything on the forum get in.
People who demanded a refund and are complaining everyday can go play checkers now.

Would love some more gameplay before launch. Open to everyone for everyone to give a try. Lets BREAK THE SERVERS so we have upgrades before launch :stuck_out_tongue:

I think this just means ā€œThe game will be out in less than 6 weeksā€.

Diablo 3 was being praised in its beta as well. The bashing started once you got the full package. Iā€™m not saying to assume thatā€™s going to be the case here, but to be cautiously optimistic. D3 beta also showed you roughly the same amount level cap wise, d3 beta was lvl 15 with a cap of 60 and d4 beta was 25 with cap of 100

Difference is, I didnā€™t like D3 even from the beta. While I really love D4.

The general consensus was similar to what we see now, many people were hyped, many people also still complained like we see now. Most people felt the game felt like Diablo after playing the d3 beta, cause it showed just enough for us to say okay, this is a Diablo game. But not enough for us to go oh boyā€¦

I have a different recollection. The art style was being laughed at. The player base and the dev team had palpable tension. But who knows, maybe Iā€™m forgetting how it actually played out.

I mentioned people had their concerns, what I was getting at is the forums pretty much looked like they do now IIRC.

Considering both of the other betas started on friday, Iā€™d imagine this one would be the same.

Would be cool to get another beta to test the feedback changes they made.

i dont really need another beta weekend to burn the same content again. I just want to play the full game and be able to see new stuff.

Having to lose my progress again is something i would not like so i hope we get another surprise like a holy fighter class (Paladin-Monk). I would love that.

Be funny if with the gold announcement they change release to next month as their surprise.
