Had a malignant heart drop that was the same as what I was wearing but pulled 45 mobs instead of 42. Not sure exactly what I did but when I went to socket it in the ring I was using it duplicated the the ring. One ring correctly stated 45 mobs pulled and the other duplicate ring said the original 43. as you can DE these for a nice haul of materials at the blacksmith it should probably be fixed.

My apologies, I made a mistake as well, I actually just socketed a very very similar ring imy inventory and it just looked like a dupe which it wasn’t. I won’t post anything of the sort again. Now that you mention it it isn’t a good idea, I agree
“hack, cheating, or other activity against the terms of use” – completely inaccurate, OP was simply stating a possible exploit that needed to be investigated, although I can see the reasoning behind your first paragraph
I did not accuse them of anything. I just informed them of the forum rules in case they did not know.
It is between them and a moderator to decide what to do.
If they were concerned about getting a forum ban, they should just remove the post, and email them directly, but that is up to them.
I just believe you are confusing “witnessing a player committing a hack or an exploit” with “observing that a potential hack or exploit exists” – the former being a violation of the terms of service
No, the offence is posting about it publicly, not committing it or witnessing it.
Why are you living in the bug report forum?
To help people get around bugs when there is a workaround, such as not being able to unsocket a heart when they are wearing the item.
Informing them when something is not a bug, such as how renown transfers from Eternal to Seasonal.
There are a lot of people posting about things that are not bugs and are waiting for something to be “fixed” when there is nothing wrong, such as stats being lowered when upgrading an item.
There are many more reasons to post here.
In this instance, I am informing people of the rules, so they do not accidentally get themselves in trouble if they are not aware of them.
