This game, while fun, is so poorly optimized for PC I literally have to play on PS5 just to get a smooth experience. Going into new zones I hard freeze, random stutters and lets not forget the hell tide fireballs that rain from the sky with no AoE circle and just magically dome you, for those out there gearing up to say it’s a hardware issue here’s my specs.
Cpu: 9900k @ 4.2 GHZ
Gpu: 6900xt (Minimal bottleneck in the system, about 6%)
Motherboard: MSI Meg Godlike
PSU: 1000W
Ram: 16gb @ 3600hz
Western Digital Black NVME SSD
OS: Windows 11
My computer isn’t a slouch and my PS5 has a far better experience than the PC on this game the PS5 plays at 4k whereas the PC plays at 3440x1440p. -.-* I don’t understand how the beta ran without a hitch and the launch runs awful.
I have my graphics turned all the way to low and still have this happening with 75% resolution. The game is slowly becoming unplayable for me on PC and it’s a damn shame because I bought Ultimate edition for both PC and Console because I like this game a lot.
I have a different experience on PC; though I do hitch sometimes porting back to town and there happen to be a lot of people in the area and things are loading up. Takes about 5 seconds at most and it all clears up, doesn’t happen every time mind you. General play out in the would or in dungeons, no hitching at all, very smooth experience. Outside the horse getting stuck on every pebble, but that is another issue. Generally have videos playing on the second monitor and I cap my framerates at 150. Running 2k.
I run a ryzen 7 with a nivida dual 3060 gpus per card and I am not having issues. I see some issues but not enough to slow it down… I would get a different gpu for the intel chip… 6900xt would probably pair with my ryzen 7 better.
i just turned it off to try it and when i come back in the game it still says its on in yellow text on the chat.
im not sure that thing works lol
1)left game to character selection
2) turned off cross-play and cross-communications
3)enter game
“You have cross network play enabled, blah blah blah”
