Do we know if poison stacks from multiple Druid abilities or does it overwrite one another? I’m using Shred, Poison Creeper, and Rabies which all applies a poison and I can’t figure out if when I apply each poison if they’re overwriting one another or if they’re stacking. The UI doesn’t really show me a number or dot like in WoW.
I just want to know if my rabies and the werewolf companion’s rabies stack.
Poison from multiple source and/or multiple uses of same skill DOES stack. This is why you want to find a weapon with the Aspect of the Blurred Beast on it. It takes all that potential poison damage ticking away on an enemy and does up to 180% of it NOW!
Unfortunately this aspect is one of those that cannot be obtained from a dungeon and has to be found. You WANT this on a weapon and not any other items though because it will get additional damage bonus when on a weapon.
EDIT: ALSO, I will note that it is a little underwhelming/deceiving because even if you can pull this off, it doesn’t show it when you’re damage numbers pop up. The damage from shred will show, but the HUGE damage from this particular affix does not. You WILL notice a huge chunk of the enemy health bar disappear.
I personally am still looking for this particular weapon, as well as the one that makes storm skill werewolf skills, so that I can go from werebear (which is also doing very well with the right affixes) back to werewolf. IDK why, I’d swap with werebear doing so well, but I just like the idea of the werewolf better LOL.
I got that affix at a 150% roll. On a 2H that’s going to raise it to 300%. I have not tried it yet because it is a max roll and I’m saving it for the lv70 capstone dungeon.
very nice. I’m still hunting for the drop.
Unfortunately the Blurred Beast build is beyond terrible.
I think in order to even remotely pull this build off you need Creeper, Rabies, Claw Poisonining, Shred Poisoning, Andarials Visage Unique Legendary, Toxic Claws,Rabies, Companian Werewolf Rabies…
The investment is massive, and even then, the damage output is terrible. The creeper poison lasts for 3 seconds so you have a tiny burst window, every 20s or so, in which you can only proc Blurred Beast once, or 3 times if you take the triple dash Shred which means your poison damage on the target is even lower.
The problem with this build is the damage.
Creeper is by far the best application of Poison however it’s only one hit, with a huge cooldown and will apply something just over 1000 Poisoning to the target at like 1000 Weapon power.
The rest are too low, Claw at 10% is like 7 damage a second. Rabies is like 100 Damage a second. Toxic claws is actually the best thing of the build because if you can get a massive shred crit it applies 24% of that but you need to apply it in the tens of thousands to millions to be effective. 100,000 Crit on Shred will stll only apply 24000 poison over 4 seconds, which is only 6000 a second.
You can’t infinitely build up the poison pool because each application only lasts 3-6 seconds so it’s not like you can infinitely scale the fight stacking up the damage. In reality you’re going to get something like 4 to 5 thousand poison damage on the target at any one time. Hitting 180% of this damage is still only 9K damage total from blurred beast.
To put it into perspective, a single Overpowered pulverize Earth Bear hit will deal 80K damage in a single hit to all targets with no condition other than Overpower required and no huge investment in skills (literally only requiring Pulverize and Grizzly Rage to pull off this insane damage)
The only way Blurred Beast is ever going to be good, is if you have a party of 3 Rogues with Poison imbuement and yourself.
Or
They change how poison works in this game for it to be viable, refreshing the duration on each new application so that the damage can ramp, at least then there might be some interesting cooldown builds Druid could run to infinitely scale poison.
As it stands, blurred beast is probably the lowest damage output build of any of them in the druid tree right now.
And how many oveepowers per second are you getting
You Overpower every 12 seconds as part of the Pulverize Build, you can be more Niche about it and have 3 overpowers with Spirit Boons and Passive skill however it’s not needed. You can go into T40 Nightmare Dungeons, drag all mobs to the end of the dungeon, back yourself into a corner, pop Grizzly Rage and then hit Pulverize about 15 times in a row. Entire dungeon Dies, you get your loot and leave.
Enjoy it while you can. The nerfs are coming. Though in that case i expect them to put the leashes back on mobs.
They already nerfed it once and it wasn’t enough. They clearly haven’t gotten a grasp on power yet. Hence why Stormwolf, Trampleslide and Pulverize are all miles ahead of every other build for Druid and other builds - Like Blurred Beast, are beyond useless.
Poison is not a viable option right now, and this game is quickly turning into a FOTM build, which is very sad.
How does the bane glyph work?
Is the 10% double damage on application of the poison? that would ideal.
10% Chance on skill activation of the poisoning attack to make it’s Poisoning damage double, so if it activates on Claw which normally deals 10% poisoning, that will now do 20% poisoning (which is still pathetic).
Basically the only skill it would be worth having this on would be Creeper at like level 10+ because it gains 9% Poisoning damage per rank ,which would proc double it’s crazy poisoning damage at like 171% at level 10, which would now be 342% poisoning damage.
That is the ONLY instance in which Bane is actually useful lol, and that’s on a 10% proc chance on a skill with a 20s Cooldown. Definitely not worth.
This is 1000% correct. Not to mention it seems like you have to actually do the dash animation for blurred beast to work.
But i tried last night and it was AWFUL. The sad truth is that werewolf is NOT viable. And for some reason people keep muddling the waters with their personal anecdotes because theyve never played another class. Werewolf play doesnt even feel like the same game.
Werewolf is Viable…
Crit Shred werewolf is fine to level in… if youre pushing NM dungeons though youll want the Stormwolf build. Its the best build in the game of any class.
What is the stormwolf build?
