Since the beta is in June my guess is prior to Christmas of 2024. At least the next PoE season sounds really good.

So, now all the POE2 fanboys can go do something else besides post here.

I thought it was the POE2 devs, but maybe it was just nerd rage, lol. Imagine wasting your time trying to hurt your competition that isn’t even your competition until maybe 2 years from now, lol. So sad.

It looks great but if it still requires a book to understand and a link to a massive spreadsheet with dozens of stats I might just pass.

I was told I will need a third party loot filter, or I won’t be able to enjoy the game. Don’t forget the loot filter.

Yeah all the weird nerd energy around here has been a little unhinged. They all seem to want to be the first to claim the downfall of a company, yet are not thinking of what may enter the void caused by such a collapse.

I dunno why gamers all want games to be destroyed now. Thats not really gamer energy. its more like teenage angst and acting like no one has ever been more disappointed than they are ever in the history of gaming…

I think this is the only flaw right now on GGG’s plan. They won’t take advantage at the current bad state of D4, they could have released an early-access for PoE2. Releasing PoE2 next year will not make any blip on casual arpgamer’s radar.

I’m feeling it’s the exact opposite. Needed to have it’s release date pushed out just as far so they could create content for it. Now it’s only going to live the life of a fruit fly.

A year flys by. I’d rather GGG polish the game than have a premature release just to push a stock price up before a merger.

S5 D4 will still be hot garbage when PoE2 opens for beta.

Maybe resistances will be fixed by then, probably not.

GGG are really missing a golden opportunity but if their game isn’t ready not there just isn’t much to do besides make sure they get it right. I do really love how they pointed out that they will not be going with skills on long cooldowns nor presenting players with long periods of loss of control over their character (ie CC lock). Managing long cooldowns plus being stun locked are not fun by any stretch.
