PoE 2 mini boss more engaging than any d4 boss

Ill start by saying im a d2 andy mostly,
I love the lore of the games and boss fights in diablo games,
HOWEVER Diablo 4 bosses are a complete pathetic joke.

Go watch the spear class trailer for PoE 2 and watch the mini boss

Its literally better designed than any Boss in Diablo 4.

I was looking forward to Diablo 4, Seeing which bosses people would get stuck on, feeling a sense of achievement for completing a particular dungeon/boss.

But unfortunately this arpg is not desgined for arpg enjoyers, but complete casuals, You know whos feedback they listen to?

The majority, and the majority havnt finished the campaign lmao.

The difficulty of this game is an absolute pathetic joke and they havnt even mentioned boss difficulty, No content creators mentioning it either.

Dont understand why people think its fun to kill a boss in 2-3 hits that does absolutely nothing to you.

Did all side quests on WT4, Andariel side quest, just killed her in 2 hits.

This whole game is an absolute meme, from the story of campaign to the end game, an absolute joke,

Only got to level 51 in poe, If combat in Poe 2 feels 70% as fluid as d4…bye d4

Will PoE 2 change the fact that boss health never resets, even if you die, and you can just keep running back to them over and over again until they die?

Because I thought that was kind of cheesy in PoE 1.

Im not sure, Im not a Poe player really, Just looking at that mini boss…and looking at me kill a boss on world tier 4 in 2 hits…i can tell what game looks more fun.

Even my partner that never played an arpg is more interested in poe 2

D4 is a gateway to Poe 2

People die in boss fights? I just play hardcore in PoE so didn’t know that’s a thing

Look I’ll say this, if you are looking for something to replace your PoE addiction you’ll never find it.

I thought there’re only 6 portals?
Haven’t played poe for a long time.

Did you read the post?

i dont play poe, only got to level 51 like 3 years ago…

I played the Crucible Season of PoE this past year, playing PoE for the first time ever, on Regular mode, and I noticed whenever I died in a boss fight, I could run right back to the boss and continue hacking away at it from where I left off. None of their health ever reset. You lose some EXP when you die, but the max you can lose is only back to the start of your current level.

I played through 9 Acts, around level 70, and just quit out of boredom.

I find it Lost Ark have better boss fight than the current boss fight we got in this game.

I was being a smartass mostly but yes, bosses in PoE are so challenging that they don’t reset health in death because let’s face it, a lot of those fights are not very pleasant especially to a casual or newer player. And yeah I get the idea of getting bored in the campaign but the end game is actually the main game, the campaign is just a long tutorial technically lol

Yeah i dont think thats a very good system BUT

Thats still better than Diablo 4 bosses lol…the bosses themselves actually have mechanics damage and health, you can actually die to them…No one will ever die to a dungeon boss in world tier 4 lmao

Yeah Lost Ark boss mechanics are great, and i really thought we would have some good boss fights in diablo 4…

They are trying so hard not to be like poe…they becoming a non diablo game…imo

This right here is the problem, PoE became the ARPG genre king by pretty much taking all the good things in Diablo and evolving them.

Diablo 4 is trying to avoid being a Diablo game for the sake of not being a PoE game

When majority of the players havet even finished the campaign…it really makes me wonder why and i truly believe its because the game is boringly easy and has no difficulty.

Lets try so hard not to be like poe we just make this an absolute casuals game…

Poe 2 isnt even out yet, and they have the same level of hype as d4 did?

Comparing the two of them is pointless.

I feel like if you play less than 10 hours a week on average you’re not even a casual, you’re barely a dabbler of gaming and you’re views are probably incredibly skewed due to an underdeveloped palate. I get why a person might only have a small amount of time to play, priorities, but tge opinions of those individuals are essentially worthless.

Almost anything seems incredibly interesting when its new or when one loves the activity but never have as much time with it as one would like, but if the game was actually good and up to higher standards, casuals wouldn’t know the difference unless they were sude by side and they’d like the better game more. They are just happy with less because they don’t know any better. If anything, I wish I could experience games like they do, but that’s impossible.

true esp the dungeon map bosses lol

Not everyone prioritizes every waking minute to play Diablo 4 in the first 10 days…also many people probably got to level 20 and then rolled another class to try it out.

I doubt the original comment was pertaining to game difficulty at all. In fact I watched the live stream and that was most definitely not the context.

Yes, we casuals represent 80% population and we keep this and every other franchise alive, so yeah better the Heard us.

Go play original D2 in your Windows 98 or Ultima Online, so hardcore you are

I have a full time job mate im level 90…

haha another clown troll in the chat typical

yes, only 6 portals then you’re done so better have a well suited build and ready or you’ll just waste a good map. Now, let’s talk about running uber lab. Die once and it’s a reset and you lose one offerring . lol.
