Pls fix finally the PS4 audio issues blizz

Every time I’m in Nahantu, I have these distorted sound problems during battles. Does anyone else have the same problem? It’s extremely unpleasant.

Try going into your audio settings in the game, change from like what is currently set to something else. That should fix it. Then go back and change to what you normally have set. This work around worked for me on Xbox when i would lose audio altogether.

I spent at least an hour trying everything last night including your suggestion, does not resolve the issue on my PS4. Literally have to turn sound off to play.

All ps4 players having issue.Trying go get it to Blizzs attention
You can turn off effect sounds/music to help with this issue but it will start to lag game the more you play in Nahtatu.

Same here - I am both glad I’m not the only one having this issue and disappointed that something this bad is widespread.

I’m even playing on Eternal currently because I thought it would be less clogged, but it’s definitely the same issue. If I’m in regular Sanctuary it’s fine, in cutscenes it’s fine, but it’s like whenever I hit mobs (any mobs) my audio shreds itself digitally. I haven’t seen if it does it just through the TV speakers because I’ve been playing at night and didn’t want to risk inflicting that in anyone else.

I definitely would have been playing more and don’t even want to attempt the seasonal content if it’s this bad I eternal. It’s like nails on a chalkboard but the chalkboard is digital glass.

Same issue on my PS4 Pro.

Blizzard obviously don’t care about PS4 users.

This isn’t an audio settings problem. All new content from VoH including mobs have this audio tearing issue on PS4. Nothing fixes it. There is no workaround.

Same issue with me on PS4. I’ve tried a few different things to hopefully fix it and nothing helps. The only thing I can do is turn the volume off and try to fight through the lag and glitching just to play.

Hopefully more people will post on this thread, or others, to help bring it to their attention.

It’s awful. I wanted to play this so bad but the audio tearing is ruining my ears. It’s incredibly frustrating to spend money on a an expansion and not be able to play/enjoy it because of this issue. I am just resolved to go around finishing collecting what I need for the maps (minus Nahantu). Ran into a Realmwalker event and I regret everything.

I’m not hating on the storyline of VoH mainly due to the fact that I haven’t played enough of it to form an opinion. However, the bugs are making me hate opening the game up. I’m sure that those in the community will continuly support Blizzard but I don’t know if they will have the same zeal of support going forward with Diablo 4. They may have to work tirelessly to release something (that isn’t going to break upon launch) to get some support back after the VoH release.

I have the same issue.
For now turn your “Effects Volume” to 0, a little disappointing without battle sounds but much better than audio tearing your ears.

If it’s a bunch of fuzz static during battles I think it’s game wide due the monster density changes I’m sure they something coming to fix it here soon

It’s only new mobs. I fought through some world events on my eternal character and everything was fine. It’s only new content that’s doing it.

Iv we been pushing through since launch on the ps4 and can honestly say playing with no sound seriously detracts from the experience… but its the only way to keep it playable with the choppy sound effects throughout the game now.

Please @blizzard acknowledge the bug at least and ensure your loyal customers that you are working diligently to resolve this. Honestly im so very close to giving up and asking for a refund.

I am also having this issue on PS4. Choppy is a good description. We had to mute our game bc it is impossible to listen to that!

Same here. I was playing on mute till i found this post. I turned the ‘effects’ sound off and the rest of the sounds are working.
