Please unlock all waypoints for alts/seasons

Hi,

In the Campfire talk you discussed to keep progress on fog of war and Lilith shrines. That is fantastic news as this is annoying for alts right now (esp fog of war).

However you discussed the unlocking waypoints would be fun. I do disagree here. Having the experience from an alt char right now there is no fun to unlock waypoints. It is just anoying that you cannot fast travel to any point on the map, but instead need to run over the whole map to first unlock the waypoint.

The only exception are waypoints within strongholds.

So please reconsider to activate pretty much all waypoints, that has been activated once by the player. Here is no fun in running across the whole map again just to unlock the cities and waypoints. It is just boring task which holds you off from playing site quests and evtl get to level 50 for any new char/season and the entering gameplay.

I have to agree. Now that the patch has dropped allowing for the most progress to be unlocked as someone with 100 percent map unlock, and all waypoints its downright tedious to go get all the waypoints again, despite the map being cleared.

I get that there is a feeling that there should be some sort of “discovery” but on alts, this seems a bit much and a chore that isn’t fun or rewarding in any way.

Please stop making us lose our waypoints every season. It’s just annoying. It wasn’t fun the 1st time, it wasn’t fun the 2nd time, it sure isn’t fun the 5th time and guess what, it’s never gonna be fun.

Exploration is meant for the first playthrough, specially unlocking fast travel. Second time around you just wanna get to places as quick as possible.
