Please stop getting rid of powers after every season

Then play eternal or a different game. This isn’t changing, nor should it. Blizzard’s devs struggle with basic intra-seasonal balance shows they have a negative ability to balance an ever growing list of imbalanced powers.

The issue is, most builds require all their aspects PLUS the borrowed powers to function. Making them aspects fills other aspect spots and breaks the build.

Stop with the assumed authority cringe gatekeeping.

'nOr ShOuLd iT" As if you’re on some board of game developing for Blizzard making calls about it. LOL

Cause that worked well in D3 lol

Oh heaven forbid someone express a different opinion than you, the horror!

Blizzard has explicitly stated it isn’t going away - it is a core concept of their seasons that they bring in new powers and some might make it back into core in some form later. That isn’t my opinion, it is what they said from the very beginning.

Who am I to say it shouldn’t, a human, a player with an opinion. After all, who are you to say I shouldn’t state my opinions and known facts? You aren’t any better and, given your response, certainly far less mature and easily triggered.

I also explained one of many reasons powers shouldn’t be permanent - they can’t balance these powers within their own season, which means they can’t balance them with an ever growing list of them. That is just basic sense.

You said what you wanted - permanent power for your character. I explained two ways to get it because Blizzard isn’t getting rid of seasons, nor are they going to make all powers permanent. Because of that you cannot get what you want in D4. You can in Skyrim, Oblivion, D2, or Minecraft in creative mode, for example.

There are plenty of games that give you what you said you want, but D4 isn’t going to be one of those until it goes into maintenance mode and there are no new powers, leaving you with whatever power your character has at that point, ie. permanently.

When you clearly state what you want, and someone tells you how to get it, that isn’t gatekeeping, it is being helpful. But of course, that assumes you are being honest, and maybe thinking you were is a mistake.

They need players to become invested in the new seasons. Otherwise people could say “Meh, I don’t like that theme. I’m going to skip this season.” and that could happen over and over again.

  • Some Thoughts and Suggestions for Blizzard to Liven Up and Improve Diablo IV *

(1st) First Suggestion:
I think the Blizzard D4 Team and Management should seriously consider allowing Seasonal-specific powers and story lines to roll over to the Eternal Realm after season game play ends. It would liven up the Eternal Realm and bring back a lot of players to ghost towns in the game.

This would attract a lot of players and give some much needed life to the limbo junkyard the Eternal Realm has become in addition to adding special or extra or bonus quests. Mixing things up would be great for Diablo IV vs how it is now. Blizzard can also add ongoing special events for both the Eternal Realm and Seasonal Realms that connect and benefit the player’s overall game experience and reward system, especially if Players are willing to grind for it.

The Eternal Realm can be special, epic, fun and entertaining where players can also use it as a testing ground with different types of builds and special powers combined. If Blizzard has this implemented in Diablo IV after every season, it would be very cool and awesome to have in the game.

(2nd) Second Suggetion:
Since PvP is barely played or used in D4, it would be awesome if Blizzard amended the initial storyline and expanded the game to include Factions / Alliances - similar to WoW, whereas the player gets to choose whether to fight for Lilith or the Horadrim or remain Independent. This would also create a very cool PvP environment for end game content and for an extended storyline. You can also add new Mercenary Companions and a Paladin class in the process, too and create cool cosmetics that we can add to our Mercenary companions vs the awful gear and outfits they wear by default… Eeek!

(3rd) Third Suggestion:
This is four in one if you may

a) Mounts:
Please fix the clunky, slow, buggy mounts in Diablo IV, Blizzard Team, and make them more stable, faster and more steady when a player is using mounts to travel and explore the world in Sanctuary.

b) Fog and Dust Weather Special Effects:
Please create a simple toggle on and off feature to disable the heavy Fog and Dust weather effects in the game as it constantly and randomly hinders game play visuals. It is awful and it is the only game I have ever seen with this ridiculous and unnecessary issue. Either create a toggle On or Off button for all D4 players, or remove this heavy fog and dust weather effect in the game it until you can figure out a better option that doesn’t cause so much visual interference for players. There is currently no option available to disable this or lower its awful and hindering special effects during game play in D4.

c) Battle Pass for Diablo IV:
We all know this was the worst and most erroneous change that screwed over all loyal players in Diablo IV, and I strongly suggest for the Blizzard D4 Team and Management to bring back the original Battle Pass that gave more rewards and more Platinum for vs. the new Battle Pass that screwed us all out of Platinum, less game play time and rewards overall. This was the worst and most shameful change Blizzard has made, and it should be reverted or modified to have the same if not more rewards and platinum as the previous Battle Pass when season 9 begins. I hope Blizzard does the right thing with this and soon!

d) Continue Improving and Fixing Diablo IV:
Keep improving and fixing outstanding bug issues in the game and making it better for all D4 players!

These suggestions alone can bring about a huge and beneficial boost to Diablo IV - if Blizzard takes these suggestions seriously and actually implements them for all D4 players.

Also, Blizzard Team, you don’t need “A.I.” to come up with great ideas for Diablo IV or any game. A.I. may be faster and helpful in many ways, but it doesn’t have the depth and creativity of the Human mind, heart and spirit… at least not yet lol.

Lastly, if Blizzard adds these cool things into the game and actually implements these suggestions into D4, and also improves and makes the changes I suggested, it would be very helpful to the Blizzard D4 Team and for their own game analytics! It would also be greatly appreciated by all D4 players who have paid and continue supporting the game. All is possible! You can do it, Blizzard D4 Team!

These are my bold and sincere suggestions for Diablo IV, and I hope Activision / Blizzard Management and Microsoft actually considers them to make D4 more fun, epic, entertaining and worth while for all D4 players! That’s all for now! Cheers! - JJ - :+1:

Make them like uber runes, with rarities like uber items. It would be cool to be able to combine powers from different seasons. Lilith’s power with a vampiric power.

I couldn’t imagine trying to interface with half the people that play this game. Clueless

Exactly. Make them very rare, but add the favorites from each season as a rune. Would keep you from using all of them all at once.

yea, I’m not reading all your unhinged crap, and you’re the one upset at people having different opinions from you on here.

Not me.

Problem with Diablo 4 seasons is that seasons are literally new type of powers and re-skinned mobs.

It would be total unbalance to have 50 different powers from s1-s8 , because seasonal powers come with complete paragon and skill rework (nerf/buff) because blizzard still doesnt know what they want D4 to be.

Seasons should be unique with different things and not only borrowed powers , and you start adding those things as a base game , same thing PoE did with Breach , rituals ,expeditions etc… and in few years , your game actually looks fun and has plenty of things to do , on top of seasonal theme.

Its too late for D4 to become good game. Its been 2 years with nothing to show for. They said ‘‘expansion will fix it’’ and it didn’t . The Pit , Infernal Hordes , Dungeons , Tributes…they all look exactly like. Everything you do in this game feels like just running greater rift.

I have more than 1000 hours in PoE2 and i am still not bored. Farming T15-16 , making new chars all the time. In D4,i got to T4 , got 2 Mythic items i needed for my builds , got 2 chars , 220 para ,i cant force myself into doing 1 tribute run anymore.
