Please simplify the Endgame there is too much content

I’ve been thinking about Diablo 4’s end game content, and while I appreciate the robust variety of activities, I can’t help but feel a bit overwhelmed by the sheer scale of it all. I’m wondering if we could discuss the idea of condensing the end game into a single core activity to simplify things and make it more approachable for players like myself.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I love having options and a diverse range of activities to choose from. However, for the sake of simplicity and clarity, I think it might be worth considering a streamlined approach. Maybe we could gather some feedback on which activity resonates most with the community and refocus our efforts on that.

I’m not suggesting we remove content entirely, but perhaps we could prioritize one main activity as the focal point of the end game experience. This could make it easier for both newcomers and veterans to engage with the content without feeling overwhelmed by the multitude of choices available.

What do you all think? Would a more streamlined end game in Diablo 4 be a welcome change, or do you prefer the current robust and varied setup? Let’s discuss and find a balanced solution that keeps the excitement while making it more accessible.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

Best way to salvage this game:

  1. Remove respec cost
  2. Add armoury setups
  3. Let max level be 80. Scale paragon points so we get same amount.

Just let people run around playing the game without the monotonous grind. Everyone has their items by 80 anyway.

I want an infinite supply of altar’s of lilith that provide no other bonus than the joy I feel finding them.

I can’t tell if these posts are propaganda in favour of the game or satire making fun of it sometimes lol

I wish we had single questline at lvl 100, that would end in us actually activating our resistances. Id play that over and over and over and over…

You’re on this boat alone and you’re also wrong.

The mid-late endgame already prioritizes nightmare dungeons as the “one main activity” and people are complaining that the game need MORE endgame activities. Not less.

Nobody is that Mental to be in favour of the game in this manner.

The end game IS a single activity → nm dungeons grind.

Also, how much easier can early content be ? You talk to a npc (marked on your map), then move to the next area (also marked on your map) and do what the NPC told you to do (there’s a tooltip on your map in case you weren’t paying attention when he first told you).

How would content be easier than this ??? Anything other than high nm dungeons you can litteraly do while watching netflix!

The endgame of Diablo 4 is to play until it gets boring (around level 70), and then go play something else for the next few years until the expansions hit and they add more story and activities.

Or better yet every day you lose all the bonuses and have to find them again in random locations. Yeah, there’s some end game…

Think OP is a troll.

OP is awesome.
People from comments should leave the Internet. They’re making it dumb.

 Don’t give Plizzard any ideas…

When you reach 100 and the grind is just too much strip off all your gear go to WT 1 and run around naked killing mobs for lowbies screaming all the time like a maniac. Put the RPG back into ARPG.

I’d like more extra levels of renown to farm.

There isn’t enough in my opinion, as xp rates are shriveled to reach 100 after the 80 marker.
NMD, whisp dunges and favors (hardly Xp, but is my stomping ground for mat farming),
Oddly, the endgame I have the most fun, you should try too.
XP farm and loot hunt in the fields of hatred. PVP is the hardest thing to do while trying to rake in the monster kills and quickly dump loot, becuase the HoTA barb and poison rogue has a “prey radar”, and it just pinged.
You get to keep loot you find, you don’t lose XP, you ALSO learn how pvp works with builds, and effective strategies to bail on the terminator-class builds out there.
If they got an ear from you, don’t be shook up over it, I’m pretty sure they have a few stash tabs of others already.

This one feels like it, other posts by the same poster are gushing with adoration yet missing the dripping irony. I’m just not sure yet.

I like it though, every post is like a mystery!

I would like more renown quests that grant you 500 gold upon completion of, say, 50 of them? Gold could be special gold that re-rolling affixes on gear requires, this way it motivates players to complete these endgame / endless renown quests.
