sure, also provide a map overlay for those that want it, these are basic missing options in the game.

Plus HUD scaling.
This size works on Deck but not my PC. I wear glasses but I’m not THAT blind.

I’ve taped a piece of paper to my screen to block it out for now… just have to remember to take it off for cut scenes.

The problem with a map overlay, even as an option, is that since keeping it on would be the most efficient way to play, everyone would use it. And having a grey overlay on top of the graphics would ruin both graphics and the immersion you feel as you’d end up looking at icons and outline strokes more than at the beautiful 3D models. So it actually was a good idea from the devs to not give us this “option”.
As for a way to disable the minimap, I agree, I felt the same a couple times : it would be nice to be able to really lose yourself in this world. I guess you could find ways to hide the upper right corner of your screen in various ways but yeah, it’s not ideal…

You think your stupid rules dominate everyone, which is a ridiculous premise. Not everyone is a sheep. People aren’t robots. Many of them will play as efficiently as possible regardless of their enjoyment, but hold on: BOO HOO! People are allowed set their own priorities and decide what is important to them.
