I don’t have a bulletproof rig i.e. 16 gB ram & AMD Ryzen 5700XT GPU etc. BUT this is the SECOND time in 20 days that I got a BSOD with a sound glitch following had to do hard restart & BOTH times my GPU was UNINSTALLED involving re-DL of the utility managing it & GPU driver…in the middle of a quest dungeon…come on with ya, FIX the PC optimization this gets old. PLEASE RESPOND.

BSOD’s happen because something more fundamental is going wrong than what the game is doing. Update drivers. Reseat your RAM and video card. Take a screenshot of the error code with your phone and then google it. This isn’t simply a problem with the game.
Game still has a huge memory leak, and those will cause BSOD.
Its why I ran the game on the lowest settings, as it does experience the memory leak, despite exceeding ultra settings requirements.

The game doesn’t leak memory. It just uses a lot of it. Google the definition of memory leak. 16GB may not be enough for D4 even though it claims it should be. If you ran out of memory, the game would just crash to the desktop. A fatal exception error is much more serious.

Bruh, where have you been. The game has had vram memory leak since beta. They said they fixed it around the end July, but its still there.
Memory leaks will default to BSOD. Very rarely do games simply crash to desktop anymore.

NO error code all drivers updated RAM solid tower never moves. THIS OCCURS IN NO OTHER GAME - ever.
I’ve had it happen twice since release and I also have a 5700xt, gigabyte aorus to be exact.
Edit: My drivers were fine after my pc rebooted however

I have a decent Lenovo Legion laptop with Windows 11 Pro and RTX 3060. I have zero technical problems. No lag issues, solid 75 FPS and not a single crash so far.

You didn’t understand what I said. I said, indirectly, that YOU must “optimize” your PC and the game runs fine when playing on something remotely decent. HD assets in this game require 32GB or RAM, which is a lot.
32 gB? I had no idea. Have plenty of room on mobo may try that.
I know what you feel, my son has 3070 and he get crashed like every day due low VRAM and bugs in D4. On my power station with 4090 everything is fine…but not so many people has that hardware like me.
I’d prefer they stop doing “Further Stability Improvements”. Everytime they do it gets worse.
They don’t care they made this for cosoles
