The drop rate can be similar to forgotten souls with legendaries. Uber uniques should be guaranteed to salvage into 2-3 sparks.
Gives the endgame something more concrete to grind towards and will keep people busy until the delayed gauntlet is released. Uber unique are only uber until the next season anyway. With leveling as fast as it is, are we just supposed to kill duriel 1000 times every season? That’s not a sustainable gameplay loop.

yeah make the game even easier than it already is
casuals are destroying the game just like D3

Don’t be ridiculous. OP raises a fair point, and you decide to misconstrue it as casual-entitlement.

Which casuals you mean? The nolifer that can’t compete in POE?or that nolifer that buying dupe mats within 1week get all uber?and you blame that all to casuals?casuals not even wear any uber until now, bro…

Every unique can be salvaged and gives 1-2 Resplendent Sparks Fragments. Collecting 100 fragments will grant 1x Resplendent Sparks.
In the best-case scenario, we will need 50 uniques to obtain 1x Resplendent Sparks. Since we need 5 sparks to get 1x Uber Unique, we would, in this case, need to farm 250 normal uniques to acquire one uber. This doesn’t sound like a casual task. Why did they not do it?

sure. if you limit the number of crafted ubers you can wear at ONE.
LOL
Just revert the Uber drop rate to S0 and S1.
Let Duriel drop other uniques that can’t be gotten from the other Uber bosses.
No, 10 regular uniques are not equivalent to 1 uber unique. Every boss drops a unique, sometimes two. You shouldn’t be able to craft any uber unique you want after killing a boss in 15 seconds 5-10 times over.
This clearly isn’t meant to be a system designed around crafting as you please. It’s to make use of duplicate or unwanted uber uniques so that you don’t waste time on the rarest and best items. When you put in that much effort (what a concept), you can trade in for the uber unique you were trying to get and were unable to. Like the poster who had a ton of duplicates from thousands of Duriel runs but still couldn’t get the Godfather. Not trade 1 for 1 or 10 uniques that drop from everywhere.
You say this would keep people “engaged in a grind” when the only thing keeping people engaged in the grind is trying to get uber uniques in the first place! Your idea would literally take that away.
Because it is. This would dumb down uber uniques to nothing. And the entitlement is thinking just because they added the system for a specific purpose that it should be expanded and be made super easy. They’re called uber uniques for a reason.
Last Duriel run we made was 50 fights. I ended up with several stash tabs full of unique items til we killed the other 2 bosses 100 times each and Duriel 50. According to your suggestion, I would have a guaranteed several Uber Unique’s even only running that much. I’m not sure if that makes them as rare as they were intended to be.
Even that would be better than the current proposed crafting system which largely only benefits RMT’ers.
I don’t mind a grind, but spark fragments would be a much better endgame than maddeningly killing Duriel repeatedly.
or leave it as is and farm your ubers like everyone else
Remove the absurdly idiotic gating of ubers behind Duriel and give ubers a 0,00whatever change to drop from all Elites & Bosses in WT4 - there, solved

Blizzards entire philosophy from the very beginning was to make more accessible games for a casual market. Diablo 1 was meant to be easily accessible and pass the “mom test”. D2 is way easier than the D2 fanboys claim it is. WoW was meant to be the casual MMO because they felt EverQuest was too hardcore. If you don’t like “casual” games than you shouldn’t be buying Blizzard games. You’re the one going against their philosophy of game design, not the “casuals”.
There’s no difficulty from the start, game already beaten since week 1.

No. They should get rid of the farming for mats and lower the rate even further. By a lot.
I bet all the casuals had level 99’s in D2.
Time doesn’t equal difficulty. Everything in D2 took a super long time, but wasn’t difficult.

Imagine caring about what other players have in a game where you don’t even have to play with other people. Sorry, friend but you farming Duriel 1000 times and finally getting a uber doesn’t make you better than the person who can only play a couple hours per day.
Regardless, creating a game for players who spend all day playing is not good for business. Because they will always be the very large minority of players.

Taking a super long time is anti-casual. Not sure if you seen or not, they are the ones that are complaining it takes too long to reach 100 in D4. Difficulty has nothing to do with being a casual game. There are plenty of difficult games that are casual friendly, none of them require tons of time to complete.
