I upgraded all Vampire powers to Lv.3
But some powers are better on Lv.1
For example, players using Metamorphosis prefer Lv.1 than Lv.3
I want to downgrade Metamorphosis to lv.1, but I can’t
Please make it possible to downgrade Vampire powers

Meta lv1 3 seconds of “Unstoppable”
Meta lv3 4 seconds of “Unstoppable”
Why would someone prefer the Lv1 one over the Lv3 one?
Resetting dodge faster than 4 seconds + when you receive unstoppable do more damage. Shorter unstoppable = faster reactivation.

Thanks, never noticed this could come in handy… as i do have “attacks will reset dodge” on my boots currently…
They could not implement good way of leveling vampiric powers, and you ask them to add something extra to that? Better don’t.

There are unique pants called:
“Tibault’s Will”
…
…
“You deal [20-40]% increased damage
while Unstoppable and for 4 seconds
after. When you become Unstoppable,
gain 50 of your primary Resource.”
So in general, going from the state of NOT being unstoppable to the state of BEING unstoppable will trigger the 50 to your primary resource. Once Metamorphosis has been leveled up you have made “permanent” decisions that can only be rectified by remaking your character. This is because shorter unstoppable time means you can reactivate it for more resource recovery.
Is this a policy Blizzard will be having during seasons, that certain mechanics are permanent and the only way to resolve is to remake a character? I hope this is just an oversight and you can down level spells after the fact (after a patch), because I didn’t think (outside of hardcore) that there was going to be mechanisms that are irreversible and also affect your build.

i have recently ran into this exact issue and am ACTUALLY considering hating playing this game and leveling the same character again with the intention not to make this mistake again. it does not matter if this was intended or not, there is a portion of your player base unhappy/quitting or rerolling the same character because of something that should be EASILY fixable.
if we had the ability to de-level a power but it did not refund any resources that would be great. if it refunded anything this would be abuseable to guarantee maxing whatever power you want.
we would greatly appreciate this being fixed.
i quit the game because of this literaly, i’m willing to come back if they fix it

Its not a big enuf thing to quit over Meta at 3 just so your pants give you resource more. So you miss a bit of resource gen. Not that important.
That being said this should have been though about and allowed in some way. Pay 500 blood to forget a blood power and it goes back to level 0. I actually asked for this to happen already in a post.

I doubt its going to happen. There is only 1 case I can think of its needed and that is tibault meta interaction. We would need hundreds of threads about this to make an impact like what happened with steel chests.
make a new character. stop asking to allow vamp powers to be downgraded. no blizzard is not going to say hey, bl sorcs are too weak, we should allow them to use evade every 2 secs for mana using tibaults. wait they already upgraded metamorphosis? well lets help them out and make things easier for them. they are struggling
to be fair this benefits other classes way more than ball sorc
i dont even use that on my sorc, i find meta a dps loss overall comparing to domination
Thats a misguided view to take. More builds use tibault than BL sorc. You cant take an unrelated thing for a build like being overpowered and apply it to something else as the reason not to allow something to happen like deleving a power because that will make them more op. We know BL sorc is op we want that fixed too.
It wasnt apparent that leveling this power would actually make it worse until you got those pants and ppl figured it out. You could easily have meta lv 3 before you even got the pants. Being punished for earning blood and upgrading you powers is not cool if you have no way to fix it besides making a whole new character. That is too much and over the top to ask ppl to do that instead of just making a way to delevel a power to 0.
what other build uses no generator and needs the mana every 2 secs from tibaults? i mean i really dont care what class you play. make a new char if its that important. as overpowered as everyone is with vamp powers and uniques, no they dont need to spoon feed everyone more
You are just being angry for no reason. Allowing a way for ppl to delevel powers to 0 has basically 0 affect on you so why hate on it and the ppl asking for it? You want to feel superior because you happened to leave it at level 1 and use pants???
i didnt leave it at 1 on any of my 5 chars. i dont see it as necessary. but i also dont see the need to spoon feed people more power. if they want it so bad, level a new char and earn it

Your are oddly angry over ball lightning sorcs even though this has nothing to do with them. You talking about blizz spoon feeding us power and making the game easier? Huh? Its about a level 3 power being worse when its upgraded. Allowing us to downgrade also has zero impact on you. If you want to be mad go find a ball lightning sorc post and knock yourself out. Like i said before, clueless.
