Well I will bite, even though the answer to this in general is obvious.
First off, the game doesn’t need speed as much as a reliable connection.
Diablo IV is very sensitive to disruption, and things like using WiFi connections, connected to an internet with other users and devices also on the network, etc can cause types of interference that may disrupt the Diablo IV traffic.
I play a lot from a Starlink connection, but I also use a 10MB DSL connection if I have issues with stability.
Don’t get me wrong, the Starlink works great here, but there are times when even it can cause disruption to my games.
So I have a DSL 10MB modem as a backup. When I use it, my gaming computer is the only thing connected to it.
The game plays very nicely, even though its a slow internet connection by today’s standards.
Now.
In your case, you may want to run some tests on your connection… You can post the results in this thread you created, but use this thread linked below for instructions on how to test your connection.
See if we can find out what the problem actually is.
As to an offline mode, that’s not going to happen. Many modern games require internet to function, and its not as simple as it would seem to make an offline mode. Even Diablo 3 doesn’t have an offline mode, unless you are on the older versions on a console or its been modded on a console.
Thanks,
