Farming Endgame Bosses: Give us the possibility to re-summon Bosses inside dungeons.
It‘s a small change with huge impact to gameplay experience.
Blizzard, please let us reset bosses INSIDE the dungeon.
…or even better: When killing a boss, let the Light-Touched Altar (to spawn the boss) immediately respawn like in season 3 in the Arcane Tremors area.
This way, we can re-summon bosses inside the dungeon and don’t have to: port out → reset → port in → run to the boss → kill → port out → reset → port in → run to the boss… and so on.
How is nobody talking about this?
I can’t be the only one who gets annoyed by going through multiple loading screens to make use of my summon materials.
It’s a major problem since season 2, but due to the increased amount of obtaining summon materials since season 4, it’s even more annoying and… kinda exhausting.
Yes this would be great. The way to the boss and the reset takes minutes and makes me angry. The rng is already very bad. Its a real torture these * rng and the way too a boss. With resetting at the boss makes the game a bit more fun again.
At this point I think you should be able to do a time trial against a boss and if you can kill it in under 20 seconds you should be able to opt for a no loot straight up trade for the boss mats. Or maybe if you can kill its tormented version theres a vendor that will now exchange mats for that boss. Something. Fighting tier 1 over and over and over and over to get tier 2 mats is so senseless later on.

I gave up Boss runs after 50x runs of Varshan and Gregoire.
Too many issues after A Year of D4 release. Some like me has grown weary of voicing out the many poor questionable QoL design. But has come to terms that profitability (metrics, psychology etc) factors are driving a lot of these bad stuff.

So here I say - Thank You for voicing our pain.
However tbh, it’s not going to do any good aka improve gamers’ QoL = FUN.
They technically already a system like this in place, but its in helltides, where the pedestal can be reused over and over. Not sure why they can’t do it in a dungeon…
This has was mentioned on one of the recent streams. I can’t remember which but it sounds like this will be changed at some point, so that we won’t have to exit the dungeon and reset over and over again. I’m guessing this isn’t a simple change due to how dungeons are instanced and how they’re coded.
I have 600 living steel and 70 of each Varshan mat waiting for this change to come through. No way am I spending hours doing this mindless rest to convert all those living steel into shards. More mind numbing than spamming whispers.
I wish we could just transmute steel into shards and varshan parts into eggs at this point. Could be a 1:10 ratio for all I care but running those bosses feels like a waste of time. Don’t even get me started about thing in the ice
The Living Steel isn’t “quite” as bad since we can use 15 at a time now and run Uber Grigoire.
The limitation to that are the Stygian stones.
As long as you run a decent amount of pit, it shouldn’t be a huge issue. I know we get less shards by running ubers, but you should have more than enough shards nowadays. The limitation to how much you can run Duriel is more the Varshan mats.
Long story short… runs pits to get stygian stones, use Living steel and stygian stones to run uber Grigoire… run normal Varshans.
But, yes, being able to resummon bosses from inside the dungeon would be the ideal solution.
That run back and resetting dungeon every time sucks.
