Please.. I'll buy even more shop skins if

You hire more than 1 guy per class to balance the game. Or if you release Diablo 4: Classic.
On game launch I had a whole beautiful skill tree full of awesome, fun, VIABLE skills and key passives to use to level up to lvl 100 and play World Tier 4 with (the endgame, some would argue). Now it’s much closer to Diablo 3, where you’re looking at a game full of awesome items or skills and only a handful of them are viable and the rest are left in the dust because they do not have a 100x dmg multiplier associated with them.
I get it in Diablo 3, where you weren’t pulling in any money after RoS expansion launch. But Diablo 4 rakes in enormous amounts of money every 3 months (From me included I’m a big fan.) But it deserves better. Why do I have to use 3 shouts in every Barbarian build? Why EQ in every build? Why can’t I pick and choose between 5 or 10 different builds and be viable in the endgame? Shouldn’t my gear be important, not just the brown text saying skills do x amounts more dmg? If I find incredibly good gear for a Walking Arsenal setup barbarian character with the Iron Maelstrom ulti, shouldn’t I be able to play the game at it’s peak just because the passives and ultis in question didn’t get a shiny unique that says they do 100x dmg?

They make more than enough money to do better work on the game. Don’t offer them more. All that’s going to do is pad the pockets of the investors and upper management.

This is an issue of will, not resources.

As long as people keep paying for crap they’ll keep getting crap.

your $25 dollar purchase isnt enough to pay for one hour of that single person time

Your (several) $25 skin purchase(s) so far were just the ratio the studio likes: you paid for the game, expansion(s), presumably premium battle passes, and high priced cosmetics? You’re an ideal customer. You’re already bff with their business model. Squeezing one more skin out of you just makes way less financial sense than continuing as is, b/c you didn’t threaten to close your wallet, and neither did the others like you. Don’t take a job as a crisis or hostage negotiator, friend.

And… that’s vs doing any additional work to improve the core game… whereas you’re asking for one more dev per class? KEKW. While continuing to pay them every month/ season. KEEEEEEKW.

Common dude, just “play your own way”. Stop complaining. The game is tearing itself apart on the edges because of how many viable builds and choices are there. Best game of the decade!

May I be Necromancer Developer?

For sure, any number of dudes beyond just one to balance the classes is a win in my book  Let’s get some use out of the items and skills in the game that are cool but never used
