Please give players an option too turn off level scaling

I wish players will have the ability to turn off level scaling. In D3 seasons we have power leveling groups which is a fun social activity. In D4 with level scaling on we will not be able to power leveling. You will need to make a new max-level character for every season.

Not going to happen, the game is designed for scaling to not make any areas obsolete.

Besides capstone dungeons will speedbump powerleveling as well.

Ngl scaling sucks, but we gotta deal with it.

Shame. To think you’d actually have to play the game.

This is actually not true. Diablo 3 for the console has level scaling, and it can be abused to quickly level up.

I like it, personally. In D2, youd clear a zone and then keep going. Youd only go back after you beat that difficulty, which meant you exp grinded in the highest level area you could. Suuuuper boring to do SactuaryRun18 lol

So you can’t power level. Oh noes.

Anyway any other reasons why? Cause that is not a good reason.

I see this as an absolute win!

You will get a 10% xp bonus for grouping and the high level person you are playing with may be able to face roll the content for you. That is about it. There will be no level 50 in 30 minutes.

actually you could still power level. It scale it for each player but you can essentionally still go back and help fast clear and with xp potions get that person leveled rather quickly if you are keeping them in highest world tier available to the individual. I mean they also said the game is only gonna take about 80 hours to get to max level if I remember correctly.

Not sure how power leveling will work in this game but level scaling has nothing to do with your gear. If you have good gear, you’ll plow through mobs regardless of scaling to level in WT1/2

But most people aren’t going to do what the hardcore gamers do. They just want to play the campaign they aren’t thinking about having to grind in one area after they finish the game. After the campaign maybe do some dungeons every now and then.

Couldn’t this be resolved by having the campaign no level scaled and the end game level scaled so that you have the whole map to level in?

Casual gamers could enjoy the campaign and hardcore gamers can play on the whole map.
