This is it. This item is literally the reason people are hating on this game. Itemization is cured if you delete this material from the game. Finding this particular item is the biggest impetus to fun in the game. I think I encountered a bug that allowed me reroll my items without Fiend Rose for one night after the patch. I got lucky. I literally started having fun in this game because of it. Now I can’t reroll without it and I’m completely bummed again.

How/where do you find this anyway - only in Helltides? Not possible in any areas of the campaign itself?

Yea, only in Helltides.

Helltides are the best locations to aquire them, wether its running around and hitting the nodes or getting them from the world events. But you can also get them in NMD’s, just not as common. Oh and you get them from the chests too in helltide when you spend the cinders

I literally only needed forgotten souls to reroll all my stuff for one night. Forgotten Souls are easy to obtain without doing Helltides. That was the best. Now I need Fiend Rose again and I’m like 
If you are rerolling items and find yourself in need of a fiend rose…
…you’d be better off not wasting time in town rerolling items like a noob.

I did a few helltides and now have 30+ of them. Chests and those random little plants that glow drop 'em. It just sucks wanting to reroll before access to helltides; that is no fun at all.
Usually i join in to bash the game but nah it not much of a problem i’m only play a couple helltide before i stop playing after complete my bp and i have plenty of them more than enough to use it for quite a long time and i possibly get even more if i continue playing
Real problem is GOLD! pretty much try to do anything about item gold will just hard stop you from going further

What the hell does that even mean? A lot of items require a fiend rose right off the bat for the first roll. Shall we just not reroll that item ever?

Well i did lots of content in this game are not worth doing but helltide aint one of them run into people sometime and break the rotation but it not that big of a deal unless someone really did follow me but i never met anyone like that people just spread out and for 1 hour if it double chest spawn hour that mean minimum 8-10 legendary it rain loot and exp is great
It also way easier than nightmare with mob 3 level higher so yeah it might surprised you but i have fun doing helltide

Silver Ores are the worst. Granted you can craft them, but I’m constantly out of Silver Ores. Would appreciate it if they upped the amount we get from salvaging gear.

I don’t mean to sound like a jerk, but that’s why I do Whispers and Nightmare Dungeons. I’m almost never online for Helltides. Whispers drop phenomenal experience. Nightmare Dungeons drop phenomenal gear and they are where I level glyphs. Wtf is the point of Helltides? Just to find this stupid herb? Btw all of you are lying about the herb dropping so much. I’ve done countless Helltides too, looted countless herb nodes, and they never drop. If you aren’t rerolling stat affixes, then you are getting in your own way.
Ahh… fair enough. Also, I am sure you know but just in case. The rose will show up as a pickable herb during Helltides too. I always keep an eye out for them since they also drop cinders.
Oh I rerolling, but with the prices being insanely unforgiving… I wait till I find a piece worth rerolling lol.

They’re pretty easy to find for me. I have 300+ on pre-season and already up to 50 in season 1.
What was their item power? Items below a certain item power don’t cost fiend roses to reroll.
