Please fix tempering, i constantly get the same tempering 3-5 times in a row
After 2 repeats, go to a different blacksmith. Sometimes it seems to help break the loop it gets stuck in. Not always, but some times.
Dev don’t care about this terrible experiences because they never played their own game. The last and only one time they live steam was in season 2 as a barbarian in a normal dungeon and that person didn’t even know how to use a potion.
- They don’t know Ring of Mendeln is bugged.
- They don’t know that Blight aspect is not as same as Blight skill.
- They don’t know that Sorc and SB are weak in this season.
- They don’t know that most of new unique items don’t work well, especially Ball Lightning.
- They don’t know that every DOT is weak.
What they do every day is playing Last Epoch to get new ideas and watch Rob Channel to nerf meta builds.
From the devs pov, it’s a good thing because it keeps you engaged. Failure means more tempering, more mats farming and therefore more time spent in game.
That’s what you get when the marketing team develops the game. That and the obscenely priced cosmetics.
yea, because quite obviously blizzard is extremely trying to increase the time spent in game… lol…
s7 finished in 4 days lolol
Looks like you haven’t tried the game that has early access started in December)) After 250h there d4 tempering and masterworking and even all itemization feels so good))
can you tell me whats special about your early access game? because once you reach level 90 which takes less than 2 weeks, you’re back in this forum.
Are you able to read? I said d4 feels much better in this aspect of the gameplay. Especially after that game
i read it a little wrong as well to be honest haha.
I’m here to show support. The more this forum is talking about it, the better. Bricking items you were excited to find is not a good time.
RNG should be at the point of drops, not after.
And make it easier for Rmtlers?
Tempering is fine as it is.
I’m going to be straight. Other people’s transactions do not impact my game play. I still find items on the ground and either use them or sell em on the trade site. I find it odd other people wanting to control other’s gameplay so much in a non-competitive game.
I play every season since day 1. And I am the one who mentioned problems about Druid’s temper that some have 6 possibilities and Hurricane duration appears in 2 categories. You can check on this in druid forum.
actually THAT was indeed an issue. Are there still such tempers? as far as i know they are all down to 3-4 right? (i cant check druids and barbs ^^)
They fixed this problem already.
ya… i’m not for this but at the same time… you don’t win anything in this game, its a pure waste of time… already takes a week to finish season… so if you buy stuff… you finish day one? like what do you do for next 3-4 months?
i don’t get it… but then again its 2025 and people get news on tiktok so
ah thats good to know. That was indeed a little wonky early on for certain builds. When everything is on 3-4 Tempers (tho id prefer if theyd stick to EITHER 3 or 4) its really no issue.
well, without tempering your items drops will be infinitely more rare. Thatll affect you then i guess.
I dont want to control your gameplay, but as you said, the more people talk about it, the better. People who absolutely dislike tempering also have to endure people considering the system fine.
I think items should brick more frequently so you don’t ever expect to get the temper you want. That way when you do get the temper you want, you are surprised and happy.
More rare is not an issue. I want to be excited when the dice rolls in my favor. It can take longer to build up in a season, thats fine.
But a roll on top of a roll for a fix on the loot rain system is bad. Just stop making it rain.
A system where acceptable is normal and bad rolls means what you got excited about is now trash is just a middle finger to 10% of your base without making the average user feel excited.
This makes more sense than leaving it as is. Especially in the case where tempering is not more OP than the stats.
