I got a unique- Crimsons. Figured alright, I’ll bite. This sounds fun if you can build around rupture. The problem is you can’t. The only thing the spell is good for is snapshotting forward and you don’t even provide the full value when doing this.
- no modifiers influence the snapshot. Legendary or stats or paragon- encroaching wrath not influencing this is a massive bummer. When you read the item description, players get hyped up thinking- o hey this would interact cool with rupture and encroaching wrath or other aspects. Then after a day or two of grind to get a build that can support it- that hype is gone because they realize it was all for not. Unfortunately, the only thing that increases is the irrelevant poke damage to start rupture.
- snapshot does not include all bleeds as dps either. It’ll definitely clear all, but doesn’t include weapon techniques. So it is actually net negative dps there…
PLEASE fix this spell to influence the impale snapshot damage. Not necessarily the AOE blast from
the enhanced version- but at least the impale spike that the spell revolves around.
Other’s have mentioned it’s bugged… it’s influencing the small poke damage correctly so this can be seen as intended but… not fun.
