There are a number of points in VoH questline where if you log out after completing a section and having the objective change, you will have to repeat that section again once u log back in.
I have had this happen ~3 or 4 times and I suspect I’m only about halfway through the questline (if that) at this point.
Either it’s a bug or there need to be more internal flagpoints set for quests so that they are not resetting as often.
I’ve also noticed this quite a few times. It can also happen if you enter a cellar, for example, too. When I first got to the new area and the guy who heals you started to follow me, I got quite some way, saw a cellar and did that, exited, and he was back at the river and the quest had reset.
Happened to me too. Finished the sewer dungeon (its too big IMHO) and teleported out and next step was to talk with the NPC outside in the city. I decided to take a break from the game. When I logged back in a few hours later, my quest was reset to go in the sewers. Was there a rollback or something?
I also went off to do some ‘non-quest’ things and was reset to the river.
I have other Problems.
I already completed the campain, including the endboss. I received the “complete the campain” achievment - but not one “Kill boss xy during the campain” achievment…
I’m also stand at 18/20 sidequests, but no ! left.
One questline is open (don’t know the exact name. “all that is old” or something like that". But i’m sure i finished it.
It’s really annoying…
This has also happened to me a few times today. All I did was go and kill a world boss and it’s reset the quest progress. WTH?
Jesus fracking christ on a stick. I killed the first story boss, and had to log out. So naturally, you’d think, you’d load in after the boss was dead? Nah, it spawns you at the start of the whole fracking quest chain again, and not in front of the boss fight, but infront of the quest, before the quest, that starts the boss fight. So, I suffered through the whole ordeal again, and got a disconnect, back to square one. Cba to touch this fracking garbage until it’s fixed.
Heck i had that happen when i walked away for about 5min, suddenly it reset. no disconnect or anything else
Also, I was in cutscenes saving Nyrelle when the servers restarted yesterday and I had to do the entire quest from the start again lol
THIS, not only VOH, but original campaig) as well, main and side quest alike…this expansion is very buggy, should have taken notepad to write down all those bugs…but IT ISNT my work ffs
