As it stands spiritwave is completely unplayable after the blood artisans curiass bug fix and tidal aspect preventing you from casting blood wave again until all three waves finish. My spirits went from hitting for 5b to 15m after the nerfs.
Also personal opinion but I don’t like the new way blood wave pushes enemies off the screen. Hard to kill them when they are that far away. The pushing does look smoother but maybe reduce the distance a little bit. Otherwise the new pants to make the blood wave push things toward you will be pretty much required.
I tried multiple things to make it work at least a little, changed my gear to no longer scale max life and instead scale damage, tried replacing tidal aspect with another damage multiplier as its simply too clunky to wait to cast blood wave again. After all that I got the spirits to hit for a whopping 30 mil Can’t even kill things in t4 with that kind of damage.
I suggest instead of completely killing the build by the chest armor “bug fix” you make the bug become its functionality. Instead of scaling of max life% just make it scale off actual max life and you could control by how much so it doesn’t overperform
I really like spiritwave. Its the most fun I’ve had playing necro and was very excited reading the patch notes seeing the new pants and theorycrafting until i saw the two nerfs and was like ouch… But figured I would wait to complain until testing on the PTR and… its just so bad now its unplayable.
Please consider doing something to not kill this build entirely
