It sucks honestly an item is bricked because 1 temper stat ruins it and we have to keep grinding for another item.
Suggestion: add a gold sink to let us reset the temper rolls.
Suggestion 2: add a new material to let us reset a tempered items. This mat could be dropped off a boss or something and add another way people to farm materials.
What do you think ?
Couldn’t hurt to have same reset as masterwork.
Current temper system is mega bad, so anything is a positive.
Insane to be constantly bricking rare/near maxed out items… smh…
I quit the game because of this bad RNG, I tried to temper an item with only 3 choices, I never got the one I needed and bricked the gear, I really hope for a temper reseat
Allowing for temper resets ruins the whole system. Everyone would just find their good items within a few days of season launch, as now by only rolling with 3 stats, those are much easier to find now, and then keep those items to temper and masterwork until BiS, which with temper resets and lower masterwork costs (people are complaining about this so Blizzard will appease them like usual and it’s all but guaranteed costs will be significantly cut) that wouldn’t take long at all.
Better temper RNG is a much better and healthier alternative for the game. Things like narrower stat rangers, no ability to roll the same stat twice in a row, maybe increased tempers rolls for GA items etc.
Allowing for tempering reset just quickly turns the game into a gold and material farm game and less of a game where you actually find items.
I disagree, if you play 12hours a day maybe is fine, but for casual like me, breaking a BIS item is just frustrating, I rather farm 12hours to get an item that allows me to get what I need instead having only a small chance.
