Can we please have the option to turn on a player health/resource bar above our characters please. A good example of how you could do this is like in heroes of the storm.
I appreciate that some people enjoy the nostalgia of having the globes at the bottom of the screen, but surely they would be ok with their being an option to turn a player health/resource bar off and on.

I support this, we already have options to show it for our minions and enemies we fight, so the coding is there, just needs an option for the player. I would also like a display of Hp/Resource Numbers on the globes to be permanently up instead of having to hover over them.
I feel they would be small QoL features they could throw in.
The globes are iconic and synonymous with diablo though, so in my opinion should stay.
I’d rather prefer a mini version of the status bar over my char tbh
See Berserk charges or if currently have an active DR, when a debuff expires e.t.c.

Absolutely, we don’t want them go to away, we just want more options to see our health at any given time, that’s all.
The game needs this. Make it an option in settings.
I am peripherally blind, as well as completely blind in my right eye. I cannot see the health globe unless i look directly at it. That often gets me killed in helltides, higher level dungeo, PvP, etc. Pretty much anywhere except town now that I think about it.
This is not a matter of nostalgia, or aesthetics for me. It is a necessity for some players. I don’t know if in trouble until the screen turns red. By then, it’s too late. If it is made as an option, then this thread and/or debates about it are unnecessary.
I hope it gets added. I think I saw a vid that mentioned that we will get health bars in the season 5 update, or the expansion. Not sure. I hope so. I’d like to play HC, not a chance unless I can see my health while my limited field of view is focused at my character.
