Player health and resource bars above players head is an accessibility necessity

The game needs this. Make it an option in settings. Players could then choose whether they want to see it or not.

I am peripherally blind, as well as completely blind in my right eye. I cannot see the health globe unless i look directly at it. That often gets me killed in helltides, higher level dungeo, PvP, etc. Pretty much anywhere except town now that I think about it.

This is not a matter of nostalgia, or aesthetics for me. It is a necessity for some players. I don’t know if I’m in trouble until the screen turns red. By then, it’s too late. If it is made as an option, then this thread and/or debates about it are unnecessary.

I hope it gets added. I think I saw a vid that mentioned that we will get health bars in the season 5 update, or the expansion. Not sure. I hope so. I’d like to play HC, not a chance unless I can see my health while my limited field of view is focused at my character.

I believe that is already an option unless it was removed.

Please share! Where is this option? I looked last night, all options on all tabs, multiple times and didn’t see it. There’s a plethora of options to show all manner of things for monsters, but i don’t see anything for the player.

Oddly it’s blue, or at least it was during the PTR.

Sweet! I’m on PC but it’s hopefully not platform specific.

I hope we can set the color on release. I can live with blue, but some people can’t see certain colors. We should be able to select it. I’m just happy we’re getting it, so blue works, for me anyways. Good news.
